`dotnet publish` doesn't do anything *extra* for publishing on Android except copy files to the `publish` directory. `dotnet publish` does have a nice convenience of defaulting to `Release` mode, though.
I think it would be useful to mention that you *can* just use `dotnet build` if desired.
