All rights reserved. This developer utility was originally shipped in the DirectX SDK, and then in 2012 was moved to the Windows 8 SDK, Windows 8.1 SDK, and Windows 10 SDK. The tool is designed to allow developers to explore the Direct3D capabilities exposed by the hardware/software/drivers on their system.
