Mixed Reality 213

This is a tutorial to understand how to use motion controllers in your Windows Mixed Reality application. This course will explore ways of visualizing the motion controllers, handing input events and attaching custom UI elements to the controllers, with additional planned courses in the works.

Current Unity Editor Project Version: Unity 2017.2.0f3-MRTP3 beta.

Prerequisites:

  1. See Development PC specs for tips on developing for immersive headsets.
  2. Windows 10 Fall Creators Update
  3. Visual Studio 2017.
  4. Windows SDK 16299, also available in Visual Studio Installer
  5. Unity 2017.2.0p2-MRTP5 *Please read more about Immersive headset setup.
