# Festivo
Festivo Public Holidays service contains holidays in 250+ countries, states and regions around the world. You can filter holidays by the ISO code for the country or state.

## Prerequisites
You will need to sign up for an account with [Festivo](https://app.getfestivo.com/join).

## Obtaining Credentials
Once logged in to your dashboard, your API key will be at the bottom of the dashboard.

## Supported Operations
### List holidays
Retrieves a list public holidays and observances for countries, states and provinces.
### List available countries
Retrieves a list of currently supported countries and states along with their ISO codes.

## Known Issues and Limitations
The free account only allows retrieving holidays for previous years.
