The Events Calendar

Easily create and manage an events calendar on your WordPress site with The Events Calendar free plugin. Whether your events are in-person or virtual events, this WordPress calendar plugin boasts professional features backed by our world-class team of developers and designers. Using this connector you can manage new, updated, and canceled events in your calendar. You can also create new events with the connector.

Prerequisites

In order to use this plugin, you must have the following:

  • An active WordPress install with The Events Calendar installed
  • Install the Event Automator plugin
  • Setup access credentials for the Power Automate under the Events > Settings > Integration tab

Supported Operations

Trigger: When a new event is created

Setup a trigger to run when a new event is created in your calendar.

Trigger: When an event is updated

Setup a trigger to run when an event is updated in your calendar.

Trigger: When an event is canceled

Setup a trigger to run when an event is canceled in your calendar.

Create a new event

Setup a spreadsheet or use another flow and enter event data to create a new event directly into your site.

Known Issues and Limitations

Sending custom fields is not supported at this time.

Deployment Instructions

  • In the Power Automate portal, create a new flow or edit an existing one.

  • Add a new action to your flow and in the "Choose an operation" menu, search for "The Events Calendar" under the Premium tab.

  • Select your preferred trigger.

  • You will be prompted to supply an API key you create before. This Connection will be saved by Power Automate, and available for use in future flows.
