CarbonFootprint
Calculate the carbon footprint in various situations, such as travel and hydro usage. Carbon equivalent is the key unit used to report one’s carbon footprint. This service enables developers to calculate carbon footprint without having to be concerned about the various conversion ratios.

Prerequisites
A RapidAPI account is needed before being able to subscribe to the API.
Obtaining Credentials
From your RapidAPI Developer Dashboard, select My Apps and then click on the Security tab to retrieve your API key.
Supported Operations
Get air quality health index
Return the official air quality health index (1 to 10) bases on key parameters.The national AQHI is based on three-hour average concentrations of ground-level ozone (O3), nitrogen dioxide (NO2), and fine particulate matter (PM2.5). O3 and NO2 are measured in parts per billion.
Get tree equivalent
Calculate how many trees it took to create paper.
Get traditional hydro to carbon footprint
Calculate CO2e from the use of traditional hydro provider.
Get clean hydro to carbon footprint
Return the CO2e in Kg from the consumption of clean hydro energy.
Get fuel to carbon footprint
Return the CO2e in Kg from liters of diesel, petrol or LPG.
Get carbon footprint from car travel
Returns the CO2e in Kg from a travel by car.
Get carbon footprint from flight
Calculate CO2e in Kg from a travel by air.
Get carbon footprint from motor bike
Returns the CO2e in Kg from a motorbike travel.
Get carbon footprint from public transit
Return CO2e in Kg from the use of public transportation.
Known Issues and Limitations
The Basic (free) subscription is limited to 100 requests per month.
