Dhananjay Phadke bba676cc0b i2c: iproc: fix race between client unreg and tasklet
Similar NULL deref was originally fixed by graceful teardown sequence -

https://lore.kernel.org/linux-i2c/1597106560-79693-1-git-send-email-dphadke@linux.microsoft.com

After this, a tasklet was added to take care of FIFO full condition for large i2c
transaction.

https://lore.kernel.org/linux-arm-kernel/20201102035433.6774-1-rayagonda.kokatanur@broadcom.com/

This introduced regression, a new race condition between tasklet enabling
interrupts and client unreg teardown sequence.

Kill tasklet before unreg_slave() masks bits in IE_OFFSET.
Updated teardown sequence -
(1) disable_irq()
(2) Kill tasklet
(3) Mask event enable bits in control reg
(4) Erase slave address (avoid further writes to rx fifo)
(5) Flush tx and rx FIFOs
(6) Clear pending event (interrupt) bits in status reg
(7) Set client pointer to NULL
(8) enable_irq()

Add code to handle IS_S_RX_FIFO_FULL_SHIFT interrupt to support
master write request with >= 64 bytes.

Iproc has a slave rx fifo size of 64 bytes.
Rx fifo full interrupt (IS_S_RX_FIFO_FULL_SHIFT) will be generated
when RX fifo becomes full. This can happen if master issues write
request of more than 64 bytes.

Masahiro Yamada 9242e72aae i2c: use dev_get_drvdata() to get private data in suspend/resume hooks
Several drivers call to_platform_device() to get platform_device
and pass it to platform_get_drvdata(). In platform_get_drvdata(),
the platform_device is converted back to struct device again.

Use dev_get_drvdata() to avoid platform_device/device dance.

Daniel Wagner 8d263be871 i2c: bcm-iproc: Use complete() instead of complete_all()
There is only one waiter for the completion, therefore there
is no need to use complete_all(). Let's make that clear by

  reinit_completion()

Ray Jui 4916eb6909 i2c: iproc: Support larger TX transfer
The current iProc I2C driver only allows each TX transfer up to 63
bytes (the TX FIFO has a size of 64 bytes, and one byte is reserved
for slave address). This patch enhances the driver to support TX
transfer in each I2C message for up to 65535 bytes (a practical
maximum, since member 'max_write_len' of 'struct i2c_adapter_quirks is
of type 'u16')

This works by loading up the I2C TX FIFO and enabling the TX underrun
interrupt for each burst. After each burst of TX data is finished,
i.e., when the TX FIFO becomes empty, the TX underrun interrupt will be
triggered and another burst of TX data can be loaded into the TX FIFO.
This repeats until all TX data are finished
