James Hogan 544e92581a EDAC, octeon: Fix an uninitialized variable warning
Fix an uninitialized variable warning in the Octeon EDAC driver, as seen
in MIPS cavium_octeon_defconfig builds since v4.14 with Codescape GNU
Tools 2016.05-03:

  drivers/edac/octeon_edac-lmc.c In function ‘octeon_lmc_edac_poll_o2’:
  drivers/edac/octeon_edac-lmc.c:87:24: warning: ‘((long unsigned int*)&int_reg)[1]’ may \
be used uninitialized in this function [-Wmaybe-uninitialized]
    if (int_reg.s.sec_err || int_reg.s.ded_err) {
                        ^
Iinitialise the whole int_reg variable to zero before the conditional
assignments in the error injection case.

Mauro Carvalho Chehab 78d88e8a3d edac: rename edac_core.h to edac_mc.h
Now, all left at edac_core.h are at drivers/edac/edac_mc.c,
so rename it to edac_mc.h.

Aaro Koskinen 75a15a7864 EDAC, octeon: Fix broken build due to model helper renames
Commit

debe6a623d ("MIPS: OCTEON: Update octeon-model.h code for new SoCs.")

renamed some SoC model helper functions, but forgot to update the EDAC
drivers resulting in build failures. Fix that.

Daniel Walker 1bc021e815 EDAC: Octeon: Add error injection support
This adds an ad-hoc error injection method. Octeon II doesn't have
hardware support for injection, so this simulates it.

Daniel Walker 5331de0570 EDAC: Octeon: Fix lack of opstate_init
If the opstate_init() isn't called the driver won't start properly.

I just added it in what appears to be an appropriate place.

Greg Kroah-Hartman 9b3c6e85c2 Drivers: edac: remove __dev* attributes.
CONFIG_HOTPLUG is going away as an option. As a result, the __dev*
markings need to be removed.

This change removes the use of __devinit, __devexit_p, and __devexit
from these drivers.

Based on patches originally written by Bill Pemberton, but redone by me
in order to handle some of the coding style issues better, by hand.

David Daney e1ced09797 MIPS/EDAC: Improve OCTEON EDAC support.
Some initialization errors are reported with the existing OCTEON EDAC
support patch. Also some parts have more than one memory controller.

Fix the errors and add multiple controllers if present.

Ralf Baechle f65aad4177 MIPS: Cavium: Add EDAC support.
Drivers for EDAC on Cavium. Supported subsystems are:

o CPU primary caches. These are parity protected only, so only error
   reporting.
o Second level cache - ECC protected, provides SECDED.
o Memory: ECC / SECDEC if used with suitable DRAM modules. The driver will
will only initialize if ECC is enabled on a system so is safe to run on
   non-ECC memory.
 o PCI: Parity error reporting

Since it is very hard to test this sort of code the implementation is very
conservative and uses polling where possible for now.
