Ganesh Goudar 40b06553c9 cxgb4: fix the error path of cxgb4_uld_register()
On multi adapter setup if the uld registration fails even on
one adapter, the allocated resources for the uld on all the
adapters are freed, rendering the functioning adapters unusable.

This commit fixes the issue by freeing the allocated resources
only for the failed adapter.

Arnd Bergmann cca9bab1b7 tcp: use monotonic timestamps for PAWS
Using get_seconds() for timestamps is deprecated since it can lead
to overflows on 32-bit systems. While the interface generally doesn't
overflow until year 2106, the specific implementation of the TCP PAWS
algorithm breaks in 2038 when the intermediate signed 32-bit timestamps
overflow.

A related problem is that the local timestamps in CLOCK_REALTIME form
lead to unexpected behavior when settimeofday is called to set the system
clock backwards or forwards by more than 24 days.

While the first problem could be solved by using an overflow-safe method
of comparing the timestamps, a nicer solution is to use a monotonic
clocksource with ktime_get_seconds() that simply doesn't overflow (at
least not until 136 years after boot) and that doesn't change during
settimeofday().

To make 32-bit and 64-bit architectures behave the same way here, and
also save a few bytes in the tcp_options_received structure, I'm changing
the type to a 32-bit integer, which is now safe on all architectures.

Finally, the ts_recent_stamp field also (confusingly) gets used to store
a jiffies value in tcp_synq_overflow()/tcp_synq_no_recent_overflow().
This is currently safe, but changing the type to 32-bit requires
some small changes there to keep it working.

Eric Biggers 3f4a537a26 crypto: aead - remove useless setting of type flags
Some aead algorithms set .cra_flags = CRYPTO_ALG_TYPE_AEAD. But this is
redundant with the C structure type ('struct aead_alg'), and
crypto_register_aead() already sets the type flag automatically,
clearing any type flag that was already there. Apparently the useless
assignment has just been copy+pasted around.

So, remove the useless assignment from all the aead algorithms.

This patch shouldn't change any actual behavior.

Kees Cook 6da2ec5605 treewide: kmalloc() -> kmalloc_array()
The kmalloc() function has a 2-factor argument form, kmalloc_array(). This
patch replaces cases of:

        kmalloc(a * b, gfp)

with:
        kmalloc_array(a * b, gfp)

as well as handling cases of:

        kmalloc(a * b * c, gfp)

with:

        kmalloc(array3_size(a, b, c), gfp)

as it's slightly less ugly than:

        kmalloc_array(array_size(a, b), c, gfp)

This does, however, attempt to ignore constant size factors like:

        kmalloc(4 * 1024, gfp)

though any constants defined via macros get caught up in the conversion.

Any factors with a sizeof() of "unsigned char", "char", and "u8" were
dropped, since they're redundant.

The tools/ directory was manually excluded, since it has its own
implementation of kmalloc().

The Coccinelle script used for this was:

// Fix redundant parens around sizeof().

Wenwen Wang f16b613ca8 crypto: chtls - fix a missing-check bug
In do_chtls_setsockopt(), the tls crypto info is first copied from the
poiner 'optval' in userspace and saved to 'tmp_crypto_info'. Then the
'version' of the crypto info is checked. If the version is not as expected,
i.e., TLS_1_2_VERSION, error code -ENOTSUPP is returned to indicate that
the provided crypto info is not supported yet. Then, the 'cipher_type'
field of the 'tmp_crypto_info' is also checked to see if it is
TLS_CIPHER_AES_GCM_128. If it is, the whole struct of
tls12_crypto_info_aes_gcm_128 is copied from the pointer 'optval' and then
the function chtls_setkey() is invoked to set the key.

Given that the 'optval' pointer resides in userspace, a malicious userspace
process can race to change the data pointed by 'optval' between the two
copies. For example, a user can provide a crypto info with TLS_1_2_VERSION
and TLS_CIPHER_AES_GCM_128. After the first copy, the user can modify the
'version' and the 'cipher_type' fields to any versions and/or cipher types
that are not allowed. This way, the user can bypass the checks, inject
bad data to the kernel, cause chtls_setkey() to set a wrong key or other
issues.

This patch reuses the data copied in the first try so as to ensure these
checks will not be bypassed.

Johannes Berg 4df864c1d9 networking: make skb_put & friends return void pointers
It seems like a historic accident that these return unsigned char *,
and in many places that means casts are required, more often than not.

Make these functions (skb_put, __skb_put and pskb_put) return void *
and remove all the casts across the tree, adding a (u8 *) cast only
where the unsigned char pointer was used directly, all done with the
following spatch:

    @@
    expression SKB, LEN;
    typedef u8;
    identifier fn = { skb_put, __skb_put };
    @@
    - *(fn(SKB, LEN))
    + *(u8 *)fn(SKB, LEN)

    @@
    expression E, SKB, LEN;
    identifier fn = { skb_put, __skb_put };
    type T;
    @@
    - E = ((T *)(fn(SKB, LEN)))
    + E = fn(SKB, LEN)

which actually doesn't cover pskb_put since there are only three
users overall.

A handful of stragglers were converted manually, notably a macro in
drivers/isdn/i4l/isdn_bsdcomp.c and, oddly enough, one of the many
instances in net/bluetooth/hci_sock.c. In the former file, I also
had to fix one whitespace problem spatch introduced.

Christophe Jaillet ec1bca941a crypto: chcr - Fix error handling related to 'chcr_alloc_shash'
Up to now, 'crypto_alloc_shash()' may return a valid pointer, an error

Update it to always return an error pointer in case of error. It now
returns ERR_PTR(-EINVAL) instead of NULL in case of invalid parameter.

This simplifies error handling.

Hariprasad Shenai ab677ff4ad cxgb4: Allocate Tx queues dynamically
Allocate resources dynamically for Upper layer driver's (ULD) like
cxgbit, iw_cxgb4, cxgb4i and chcr. The resources allocated include Tx
queues which are allocated when ULD register with cxgb4 driver and freed
while un-registering. The Tx queues which are shared by ULD shall be
allocated by first registering driver and un-allocated by last
unregistering driver.

Allocate resources dynamically to cxgb4's Upper layer driver's(ULD) like

cxgb4 driver and free them while unregistering. All the queues and the
interrupts for them will be allocated during ULD probe only and freed
during remove.

Hariprasad Shenai 324429d741 chcr: Support for Chelsio's Crypto Hardware
The Chelsio's Crypto Hardware can perform the following operations:
SHA1, SHA224, SHA256, SHA384 and SHA512, HMAC(SHA1), HMAC(SHA224),
HMAC(SHA256), HMAC(SHA384), HAMC(SHA512), AES-128-CBC, AES-192-CBC,
AES-256-CBC, AES-128-XTS, AES-256-XTS

This patch implements the driver for above mentioned features. This
driver is an Upper Layer Driver which is attached to Chelsio's LLD
(cxgb4) and uses the queue allocated by the LLD for sending the crypto
requests to the Hardware and receiving the responses from it.

The crypto operations can be performed by Chelsio's hardware from the
userspace applications and/or from within the kernel space using the
kernel's crypto API.

The above mentioned crypto features have been tested using kernel's
tests mentioned in testmgr.h. They also have been tested from user
space using libkcapi and Openssl.
