Several functions do not modify pointed data so arguments and local
variables can be const for correctness and safety. This allows also
making file-scope nci_core_get_config_otp_ram_version array const.

There is a use after free memory corruption during module exit:
- nfcsim_exit()
- nfcsim_device_free(dev0)
- nfc_digital_unregister_device()
This iterates over command queue and frees all commands,
- dev->up = false
- nfcsim_link_shutdown()
- nfcsim_link_recv_wake()
This wakes the sleeping thread nfcsim_link_recv_skb().

Wake from wait_event_interruptible_timeout(),
call directly the deb->cb callback even though (dev->up == false),

This flow of calling digital_send_cmd_complete() callback on driver exit
is specific to nfcsim which implements reading and sending work queues.

s3fwrn5 driver modifies static struct nci_ops only to set prop_ops.
Since prop_ops is build time constant with known size, it can be made

The struct nci_ops is modified by NFC core in only one case:
nci_allocate_device() receives too many proprietary commands (prop_ops)
to configure. This is a build time known constrain, so a graceful
handling of such case is not necessary.
Instead, fail the nci_allocate_device() and add BUILD_BUG_ON() to places
which set these.
This allows to constify the struct nci_ops (consisting of function
pointers) for correctness and safety.

The opening comment mark '/**' is used for highlighting the beginning of
kernel-doc comments.
The header for drivers/nfc/nfcmrvl follows this syntax, but the content
inside does not comply with kernel-doc.
This line was probably not meant for kernel-doc parsing, but is parsed
due to the presence of kernel-doc like comment syntax(i.e, '/**'), which
causes unexpected warnings from kernel-doc.
For e.g., running scripts/kernel-doc -none on drivers/nfc/nfcmrvl/spi.c
causes warning:
warning: expecting prototype for Marvell NFC(). Prototype was for SPI_WAIT_HANDSHAKE() instead
Provide a simple fix by replacing such occurrences with general comment

S3FWRN5 depends on a clock input ("XI" pin) to function properly.
Depending on the hardware configuration this could be an always-on
oscillator or some external clock that must be explicitly enabled.
So far we assumed that the clock is always-on.
Make the driver request an (optional) clock from the device tree
and make sure the clock is running before starting S3FWRN5.
Note: S3FWRN5 asserts "GPIO2" whenever it needs the clock input to
function correctly. On some hardware configurations, GPIO2 is
connected directly to an input pin of the external clock provider
(e.g. the main PMIC of the SoC). In that case, it can automatically
AND the clock enable bit and clock request from S3FWRN5 so that
the clock is actually only enabled when needed.
It is also conceivable that on some other hardware configuration
S3FWRN5's GPIO2 might be connected as a regular GPIO input
of the SoC. In that case, follow-up patches could extend the
driver to request the GPIO, set up an interrupt and only enable
the clock when requested by S3FWRN5.

In function fdp_nci_patch_otp and fdp_nci_patch_ram,many goto
out statements are used, and out label just return variable r.
in some places,just jump to the out label, and in other places,
assign a value to the variable r,then jump to the out label.
It is unnecessary, we just use return sentences to replace goto
sentences and delete out label.

In function s3fwrn5_nci_post_setup, the variable ret is assigned then
goto out label, which just return ret, so we use return to replace it.
Other goto sentences are similar, we use return sentences to replace
goto sentences and delete out label.

The driver core ignores the return value of mei_cl_device_remove() so
passing an error value doesn't solve any problem. As most mei drivers'
remove callbacks return 0 unconditionally and returning a different value
doesn't have any effect, change this prototype to return void and return 0
unconditionally in mei_cl_device_remove(). The only driver that could
return an error value is modified to emit an explicit warning in the error
case.

The variable r is defined at the beginning and initialized
to 0 until the function returns r, and the variable r is
not reassigned.Therefore, we do not need to define the

NCI virtual device simulates a NCI device to the user. It can be used to

If interrupt trigger is not set when requesting the interrupt, the core

There are other NXP NCI compatible NFC controllers such as the PN7150
that use an integrated firmware and therefore do not have a GPIO to
select firmware downloading mode. To support this kind of controller,
let's make the firmware GPIO optional.

GPIOs - as returned by of_get_named_gpio() and used by the gpiolib - are
signed integers, where negative number indicates error. The return
value of of_get_named_gpio() should not be assigned to an unsigned int
because in case of !CONFIG_GPIOLIB such number would be a valid GPIO.

Currently <crypto/sha.h> contains declarations for both SHA-1 and SHA-2,
and <crypto/sha3.h> contains declarations for SHA-3.
This organization is inconsistent, but more importantly SHA-1 is no
longer considered to be cryptographically secure. So to the extent
possible, SHA-1 shouldn't be grouped together with any of the other SHA
versions, and usage of it should be phased out.
Therefore, split <crypto/sha.h> into two headers <crypto/sha1.h> and
<crypto/sha2.h>, and make everyone explicitly specify whether they want
the declarations for SHA-1, SHA-2, or both.
This avoids making the SHA-1 declarations visible to files that don't
want anything to do with SHA-1. It also prepares for potentially moving
sha1.h into a new insecure/ or dangerous/ directory.

The device tree property prefix describes the vendor, which in case of
S3FWRN5 chip is Samsung. Therefore the "s3fwrn5" prefix for "en-gpios"
and "fw-gpios" is not correct and should be deprecated. Introduce
properly named properties for these GPIOs but still support deprecated
ones.
