IDE subsystem has been deprecated since 2009 and the majority
(if not all) of Linux distributions have switched to use
libata for ATA support exclusively. However there are still
some users (mostly old or/and embedded non-x86 systems) that
have not converted from using IDE subsystem to libata PATA
drivers. This doesn't seem to be good thing in the long-term
for Linux as while there is less and less PATA systems left
in use:
* testing efforts are divided between two subsystems
* having duplicate drivers for same hardware confuses users
This patch converts lemote2f_defconfig to use libata PATA
drivers.
PS This platform uses CS5536 chipset which (due to historical
reasons) has basic support in AMD/nVidia PATA host driver and
full support in a newer CS5536 PATA one (pata_cs5536). Thus
most likely this platform should switch to using the latter
host driver.

Currently, code of Loongson-2/3 is under loongson directory and code of
Loongson-1 is under loongson1 directory. Besides, there are Kconfig
options such as MACH_LOONGSON and MACH_LOONGSON1. This naming style is
very ugly and confusing. Since Loongson-2/3 are both 64-bit general-
purpose CPU while Loongson-1 is 32-bit SoC, we rename both file names
and Kconfig symbols from loongson/loongson1 to loongson64/loongson32.

and drop the former entirely from the tree.

Commit 84ebc10294 (USB: remove
CONFIG_USB_SUSPEND option) failed to remove all of the usages of
USB_SUSPEND throughout the kernel. This patch (as1677) removes the
remaining instances of that symbol.

The meaning of CONFIG_EMBEDDED has long since been obsoleted; the option
is used to configure any non-standard kernel with a much larger scope than
only small devices.
This patch renames the option to CONFIG_EXPERT in init/Kconfig and fixes
references to the option throughout the kernel. A new CONFIG_EMBEDDED
option is added that automatically selects CONFIG_EXPERT when enabled and
can be used in the future to isolate options that should only be
considered for embedded systems (RISC architectures, SLOB, etc).
Calling the option "EXPERT" more accurately represents its intention: only
expert users who understand the impact of the configuration changes they
are making should enable it.

Currently, MIPS kernels silently overwrite kernel command-line parameters
hardcoded in CONFIG_CMDLINE by the ones received from firmware. Therefore,
using firmware remains the only reliable method to transfer the
command-line parameters, which is not always desirable or convenient, and
the CONFIG_CMDLINE option is thereby effectively rendered useless.
This patch fixes the problem described above and introduces a more flexible
scheme of handling the kernel command line, in a manner identical to what is
currently used for x86. The default behavior, i.e. when CONFIG_CMDLINE_BOOL
is not defined, retains the existing semantics, and firmware command-line
arguments override the hardcoded ones.

Add default config file for Lemote Loongson 2F family machines. The
resulting kernel image can be shared between Fuloong 2F, Yeeloong 2F and
other Lemote Loongson 2F family machines.
If you are using an old PMON, and not using a 2f box, please add a new
command line argument in the boot.cfg.
For example, add this argument for 8.9inches notebook:
machtype=lemote-yeeloong-2f-8.9inches
or
machtype=8.9
