When a recovery is started for a qeth device, additional invocations
to change a mac address, to configure a VLAN interface on top, or to
add multicast addresses should wait till recovery is finished,
otherwise recovery might fail.

qeth: Unregister MAC addresses from device (layer 2) during
recovery cycle. When the device is set online the MAC
addresses are registered again on the device.

Since the receive code should tolerate any incoming garbage, it
should be protected against a potential wraparound when manipulating
length values within incoming data.
block_len is unsigned, so a too large subtraction will cause a
wraparound.

The ip assist hw command for setting an IP address last unacceptable
long so we can not spin while we waiting for the irq. Since we can
ensure process context for all occurrences of this command we can use
wait.

For z/VM GuestLAN or VSWITCH devices the transport layer is
configured in z/VM. The layer2 attribute of a participating Linux
device has to match the z/VM definition. In case of a mismatch
Linux currently crashes in qeth recovery due to a reference to the
not yet existing net_device.
Solution: add a check for existence of net_device and add a message
pointing to the mismatch of layer definitions in Linux and z/VM.

OSA-devices operating in layer3 mode offer adding of the source MAC
address to the QDIO header of inbound packets. The qeth driver can
exploit this functionality to replace FAKELL-entries in the ethernet
header of received packets.

Do not touch IFF_UP flag during qeth recovery, but invoke dev_close()
in case of failing recovery.
Cancel outstanding control commands in case of Data Checks or
Channel Checks.
Do not invoke qeth_l2_del_all_mc() in case of a hard stop to speed up
removal of qeth devices.

Real HiperSocket devices in layer2 mode have a firmware-created
MAC-address. This change enables the qeth driver to use this
firmware MAC-address for layer2 HiperSocket devices.

probe_error() frees memory only, if cgdev->dev.driver_data refers
to the claw_privbk structure. Move forward its setting in claw_probe()

Instead of having each driver for ccwgroup slave device parsing the
input itself and calling ccwgroup_create(), introduce a new function
ccwgroup_create_from_string() and handle parsing inside the ccwgroup
core.

if packets are sent while the netiucv device is not up and running.

Problem: If setting of an ip-address fails with LAN_OFFLINE,
qeth does not save the ip-address in its internal
list of set ip-addresses. qeth recovers after a
following STARTLAN event, but cannot set the unsaved
ip-address.
Solution: save the ip-address in the qeth-maintained list of
ip-addresses after a LAN_OFFLINE failure for SETIP.

Allocate headroom for TR_HLEN but using only ETH_HLEN causes rx
performance degradation. Allocate ETH_HLEN for ethernet and
TR_HLEN for token ring (layer 3 mode).
