Neil Horman 0d0863b020 sctp: Change defaults on cookie hmac selection
Recently I posted commit 3c68198e75 which made selection of the cookie hmac
algorithm selectable. This is all well and good, but Linus noted that it
changes the default config:
http://marc.info/?l=linux-netdev&m=135536629004808&w=2

I've modified the sctp Kconfig file to reflect the recommended way of making
this choice, using the thermal driver example specified, and brought the
defaults back into line with the way they were prior to my origional patch

Also, on Linus' suggestion, re-adding ability to select default 'none' hmac
algorithm, so we don't needlessly bloat the kernel by forcing a non-none
default. This also led me to note that we won't honor the default none
condition properly because of how sctp_net_init is encoded. Fix that up as
well.

Tested by myself (allbeit fairly quickly). All configuration combinations seems
to work soundly.

Neil Horman 3c68198e75 sctp: Make hmac algorithm selection for cookie generation dynamic
Currently sctp allows for the optional use of md5 of sha1 hmac algorithms to
generate cookie values when establishing new connections via two build time
config options. Theres no real reason to make this a static selection. We can
add a sysctl that allows for the dynamic selection of these algorithms at run
time, with the default value determined by the corresponding crypto library
availability.
This comes in handy when, for example running a system in FIPS mode, where use
of md5 is disallowed, but SHA1 is permitted.

Note: This new sysctl has no corresponding socket option to select the cookie
hmac algorithm. I chose not to implement that intentionally, as RFC 6458
contains no option for this value, and I opted not to pollute the socket option
namespace.

Change notes:
v2)
	* Updated subject to have the proper sctp prefix as per Dave M.
	* Replaced deafult selection options with new options that allow
developers to explicitly select available hmac algs at build time
as per suggestion by Vlad Y.

David S. Miller 92101b3b2e ipv4: Prepare for change of rt->rt_iif encoding.
Use inet_iif() consistently, and for TCP record the input interface of
cached RX dst in inet sock.

rt->rt_iif is going to be encoded differently, so that we can
legitimately cache input routes in the FIB info more aggressively.

When the input interface is "use SKB device index" the rt->rt_iif will
be set to zero.

This forces us to move the TCP RX dst cache installation into the ipv4
specific code, and as well it should since doing the route caching for
ipv6 is pointless at the moment since it is not inspected in the ipv6
input paths yet.

Also, remove the unlikely on dst->obsolete, all ipv4 dsts have
obsolete set to a non-zero value to force invocation of the check
callback.

Xi Wang 2692ba61a8 sctp: fix incorrect overflow check on autoclose
Commit 8ffd3208 voids the previous patches f6778aab and 810c0719 for
limiting the autoclose value. If userspace passes in -1 on 32-bit
platform, the overflow check didn't work and autoclose would be set
to 0xffffffff.

This patch defines a max_autoclose (in seconds) for limiting the value
and exposes it through sysctl, with the following intentions.

1) Avoid overflowing autoclose * HZ.

2) Keep the default autoclose bound consistent across 32- and 64-bit
platforms (INT_MAX / HZ in this patch).

3) Keep the autoclose value consistent between setsockopt() and
   getsockopt() calls.

Eric Dumazet 87fb4b7b53 net: more accurate skb truesize
skb truesize currently accounts for sk_buff struct and part of skb head.
kmalloc() roundings are also ignored.

Considering that skb_shared_info is larger than sk_buff, its time to
take it into account for better memory accounting.

This patch introduces SKB_TRUESIZE(X) macro to centralize various
assumptions into a single place.

At skb alloc phase, we put skb_shared_info struct at the exact end of
skb head, to allow a better use of memory (lowering number of
reallocations), since kmalloc() gives us power-of-two memory blocks.

Unless SLUB/SLUB debug is active, both skb->head and skb_shared_info are
aligned to cache lines, as before.

Note: This patch might trigger performance regressions because of
misconfigured protocol stacks, hitting per socket or global memory
limits that were previously not reached. But its a necessary step for a
more accurate memory accounting.

Eric Dumazet f03d78db65 net: refine {udp|tcp|sctp}_mem limits
Current tcp/udp/sctp global memory limits are not taking into account
hugepages allocations, and allow 50% of ram to be used by buffers of a
single protocol [ not counting space used by sockets / inodes ...]

Lets use nr_free_buffer_pages() and allow a default of 1/8 of kernel ram
per protocol, and a minimum of 128 pages.
Heavy duty machines sysadmins probably need to tweak limits anyway.

Eric Dumazet 1823e4c80e snmp: add align parameter to snmp_mib_init()
In preparation for 64bit snmp counters for some mibs,
add an 'align' parameter to snmp_mib_init(), instead
of assuming mibs only contain 'unsigned long' fields.

Callers can use __alignof__(type) to provide correct
alignment.

Wei Yongjun 6429d3dc4b sctp: missing set src and dest port while lookup output route
While lookup the output route, we do not set the src and dest
port. This will cause we got a wrong route if we had set the
outbund transport to IPsec with src or dst port.

Shan Wei 4e15ed4d93 net: replace ipfragok with skb->local_df
As Herbert Xu said: we should be able to simply replace ipfragok
with skb->local_df. commit f88037(sctp: Drop ipfargok in sctp_xmit function)
has droped ipfragok and set local_df value properly.

The patch kills the ipfragok parameter of .queue_xmit().

Tejun Heo 5a0e3ad6af include cleanup: Update gfp.h and slab.h includes to prepare for breaking implicit slab.h inclusion from percpu.h
percpu.h is included by sched.h and module.h and thus ends up being
included when building most .c files. percpu.h includes slab.h which
in turn includes gfp.h making everything defined by the two files
universally available and complicating inclusion dependencies.

percpu.h -> slab.h dependency is about to be removed. Prepare for
this change by updating users of gfp and slab facilities include those
headers directly instead of assuming availability. As this conversion
needs to touch large number of source files, the following script is
used as the basis of conversion.

  http://userweb.kernel.org/~tj/misc/slabh-sweep.py

The script does the followings.

* Scan files for gfp and slab usages and update includes such that
only the necessary includes are there. ie. if only gfp is used,
gfp.h, if slab is used, slab.h.

* When the script inserts a new include, it looks at the include
blocks and try to put the new include such that its order conforms
to its surrounding. It's put in the include block which contains
core kernel includes, in the same order that the rest are ordered -
alphabetical, Christmas tree, rev-Xmas-tree or at the end if there
doesn't seem to be any matching order.

* If the script can't find a place to put a new include (mostly
because the file doesn't have fitting include block), it prints out
an error message indicating which .h file needs to be added to the
  file.

The conversion was done in the following steps.

1. The initial automatic conversion of all .c files updated slightly
over 4000 files, deleting around 700 includes and adding ~480 gfp.h
and ~3000 slab.h inclusions. The script emitted errors for ~400
   files.

2. Each error was manually checked. Some didn't need the inclusion,
some needed manual addition while adding it to implementation .h or
embedding .c file was more appropriate for others. This step added
   inclusions to around 150 files.

3. The script was run again and the output was compared to the edits
from #2 to make sure no file was left behind.

4. Several build tests were done and a couple of problems were fixed.
   e.g. lib/decompress_*.c used malloc/free() wrappers around slab
APIs requiring slab.h to be added manually.

5. The script was run on all .h files but without automatically
editing them as sprinkling gfp.h and slab.h inclusions around .h
files could easily lead to inclusion dependency hell. Most gfp.h
inclusion directives were ignored as stuff from gfp.h was usually
wildly available and often used in preprocessor macros. Each
slab.h inclusion directive was examined and added manually as
   necessary.

6. percpu.h was updated not to include slab.h.

7. Build test were done on the following configurations and failures
were fixed. CONFIG_GCOV_KERNEL was turned off for all tests (as my
distributed build env didn't work with gcov compiles) and a few
more options had to be turned off depending on archs to make things
build (like ipr on powerpc/64 which failed due to missing writeq).

   * x86 and x86_64 UP and SMP allmodconfig and a custom test config.
   * powerpc and powerpc64 SMP allmodconfig
   * sparc and sparc64 SMP allmodconfig
   * ia64 SMP allmodconfig
   * s390 SMP allmodconfig
   * alpha SMP allmodconfig
   * um on x86_64 SMP allmodconfig

8. percpu.h modifications were reverted so that it could be applied as
a separate patch and serve as bisection point.

Given the fact that I had only a couple of failures from tests on step
6, I'm fairly confident about the coverage of this conversion patch.
If there is a breakage, it's likely to be something in one of the arch
headers which should be easily discoverable easily on most builds of
the specific arch.
