Xiubo Li 642d51fb07 ceph: check folio PG_private bit instead of folio->private
The pages in the file mapping maybe reclaimed and reused by other
subsystems and the page->private maybe used as flags field or
something else, if later that pages are used by page caches again
the page->private maybe not cleared as expected.

Here will check the PG_private bit instead of the folio->private.

Pull netfs updates from David Howells:
 "Netfs prep for write helpers.

  Having had a go at implementing write helpers and content encryption
  support in netfslib, it seems that the netfs_read_{,sub}request
  structs and the equivalent write request structs were almost the same
  and so should be merged, thereby requiring only one set of
  alloc/get/put functions and a common set of tracepoints.

  Merging the structs also has the advantage that if a bounce buffer is
  added to the request struct, a read operation can be performed to fill
  the bounce buffer, the contents of the buffer can be modified and then
  a write operation can be performed on it to send the data wherever it
  needs to go using the same request structure all the way through. The
  I/O handlers would then transparently perform any required crypto.
  This should make it easier to perform RMW cycles if needed.

  The potentially common functions and structs, however, by their names
  all proclaim themselves to be associated with the read side of things.

  The bulk of these changes alter this in the following ways:

   - Rename struct netfs_read_{,sub}request to netfs_io_{,sub}request.

   - Rename some enums, members and flags to make them more appropriate.

   - Adjust some comments to match.

   - Drop "read"/"rreq" from the names of common functions. For
     instance, netfs_get_read_request() becomes netfs_get_request().

   - The ->init_rreq() and ->issue_op() methods become ->init_request()
     and ->issue_read(). I've kept the latter as a read-specific
     function and in another branch added an ->issue_write() method.

  The driver source is then reorganised into a number of files:

        fs/netfs/buffered_read.c        Create read reqs to the pagecache
        fs/netfs/io.c                   Dispatchers for read and write reqs
        fs/netfs/main.c                 Some general miscellaneous bits
        fs/netfs/objects.c              Alloc, get and put functions
        fs/netfs/stats.c                Optional procfs statistics.

  and future development can be fitted into this scheme, e.g.:

        fs/netfs/buffered_write.c       Modify the pagecache
        fs/netfs/buffered_flush.c       Writeback from the pagecache
        fs/netfs/direct_read.c          DIO read support
        fs/netfs/direct_write.c         DIO write support
        fs/netfs/unbuffered_write.c     Write modifications directly back

  Beyond the above changes, there are also some changes that affect how
  things work:

   - Make fscache_end_operation() generally available.

   - In the netfs tracing header, generate enums from the symbol ->
     string mapping tables rather than manually coding them.

   - Add a struct for filesystems that uses netfslib to put into their
     inode wrapper structs to hold extra state that netfslib is
     interested in, such as the fscache cookie. This allows netfslib
     functions to be set in filesystem operation tables and jumped to
     directly without having to have a filesystem wrapper.

   - Add a member to the struct added above to track the remote inode
     length as that may differ if local modifications are buffered. We
     may need to supply an appropriate EOF pointer when storing data (in
     AFS for example).

   - Pass extra information to netfs_alloc_request() so that the
     ->init_request() hook can access it and retain information to
     indicate the origin of the operation.

   - Make the ->init_request() hook return an error, thereby allowing a
     filesystem that isn't allowed to cache an inode (ceph or cifs, for
     example) to skip readahead.

   - Switch to using refcount_t for subrequests and add tracepoints to
     log refcount changes for the request and subrequest structs.

   - Add a function to consolidate dispatching a read request. Similar
     code is used in three places and another couple are likely to be
     added in the future"

NeilBrown 503d4fa6ee ceph: remove reliance on bdi congestion
The bdi congestion tracking in not widely used and will be removed.

CEPHfs is one of a small number of filesystems that uses it, setting just
the async (write) congestion flags at what it determines are appropriate
times.

The only remaining effect of the async flag is to cause (some)
WB_SYNC_NONE writes to be skipped.

So instead of setting the flag, set an internal flag and change:

 - .writepages to do nothing if WB_SYNC_NONE and the flag is set

 - .writepage to return AOP_WRITEPAGE_ACTIVATE if WB_SYNC_NONE and the
   flag is set.

The writepages change causes a behavioural change in that pageout() can
now return PAGE_ACTIVATE instead of PAGE_KEEP, so SetPageActive() will
be called on the page which (I think) wil further delay the next attempt
at writeout.  This might be a good thing.

Add a netfs_i_context struct that should be included in the network
filesystem's own inode struct wrapper, directly after the VFS's inode
struct, e.g.:

The netfs_i_context struct so far contains a single field for the network
filesystem to use - the cache cookie:

     Initialise the netfs context and set the operations.

     Find the netfs context from the VFS inode.

 (3) struct inode *netfs_inode(struct netfs_i_context *ctx);

     Find the VFS inode from the netfs context.

If a ceph file is made up of inline data, uninline that in the ceph_open()
rather than in ceph_page_mkwrite(), ceph_write_iter(), ceph_fallocate() or
ceph_write_begin().

This makes it easier to convert to using the netfs library for VM write
hooks.

Should this also take the inode lock for the duration on uninlining to
prevent a race with truncation?

In 9p, afs ceph, and nfs, gfpflags_allow_blocking() (which wraps a
test for __GFP_DIRECT_RECLAIM being set) is used to determine if
->releasepage() should wait for the completion of a DIO write to fscache
with something like:

	if (folio_test_fscache(folio)) {
		if (!gfpflags_allow_blocking(gfp) || !(gfp & __GFP_FS))
			return false;
		folio_wait_fscache(folio);
	}

Instead, current_is_kswapd() should be used instead.

Note that this is based on a patch originally by Zhaoyang Huang[1].  In
addition to extending it to the other network filesystems and putting it on
top of my fscache rewrite, it also needs to include linux/swap.h in a bunch
of places.  Can current_is_kswapd() be moved to linux/mm.h?

Jeff Layton 400e1286c0 ceph: conversion to new fscache API
Now that the fscache API has been reworked and simplified, change ceph
over to use it.

With the old API, we would only instantiate a cookie when the file was
open for reads. Change it to instantiate the cookie when the inode is
instantiated and call use/unuse when the file is opened/closed.

Also, ensure we resize the cached data on truncates, and invalidate the
cache in response to the appropriate events. This will allow us to
plumb in write support later.

Convert the netfs helper library to use folios throughout, convert the 9p
and afs filesystems to use folios in their file I/O paths and convert the
ceph filesystem to use just enough folios to compile.

With these changes, afs passes -g quick xfstests.

Jeff Layton 5d6451b148 ceph: shut down access to inode when async create fails
Add proper error handling for when an async create fails. The inode
never existed, so any dirty caps or data are now toast. We already
d_drop the dentry in that case, but the now-stale inode may still be
around. We want to shut down access to these inodes, and ensure that
they can't harbor any more dirty data, which can cause problems at
umount time.

When this occurs, flag such inodes as being SHUTDOWN, and trash any caps
and cap flushes that may be in flight for them, and invalidate the
pagecache for the inode. Add a new helper that can check whether an
inode or an entire mount is now shut down, and call it instead of
accessing the mount_state directly in places where we test that now.

Jan Kara 057ba5b245 ceph: Fix race between hole punch and page fault
Ceph has a following race between hole punching and page fault:

CPU1                                  CPU2
ceph_fallocate()
  ...
  ceph_zero_pagecache_range()
                                      ceph_filemap_fault()
                                        faults in page in the range being
                                        punched
  ceph_zero_objects()

And now we have a page in punched range with invalid data. Fix the
problem by using mapping->invalidate_lock similarly to other
filesystems. Note that using invalidate_lock also fixes a similar race
wrt ->readpage().

Xiubo Li 903f4fec78 ceph: add IO size metrics support
This will collect IO's total size and then calculate the average
size, and also will collect the min/max IO sizes.

The debugfs will show the size metrics in bytes and will let the
userspace applications to switch to what they need.

Jeff Layton 22d41cdcd3 ceph: remove bogus checks and WARN_ONs from ceph_set_page_dirty
The checks for page->mapping are odd, as set_page_dirty is an
address_space operation, and I don't see where it would be called on a
non-pagecache page.

The warning about the page lock also seems bogus.  The comment over
set_page_dirty() says that it can be called without the page lock in
some rare cases. I don't think we want to warn if that's the case.

Jeff Layton 379fc7fad0 ceph: use attach/detach_page_private for tracking snap context
There is some ambiguity around the use of PagePrivate. It's
generally expected in core code that if PagePrivate is set then
you have a reference to it. It's not clear that ceph always
does (and I believe it may not).

Change ceph to use attach/detach_page_private so that we keep a
reference to the page until the snap context is detached.

Jeff Layton d801327d95 ceph: convert ceph_write_begin to netfs_write_begin
Convert ceph_write_begin to use the netfs_write_begin helper. Most of
the ops we need for it are already in place from the readpage conversion
but we do add a new check_write_begin op since ceph needs to be able to
vet whether there is an incompatible writeback already in flight before
reading in the page.

With this, we can also remove the old ceph_do_readpage helper.

Jeff Layton 7c46b31809 ceph: rework PageFsCache handling
With the new fscache API, the PageFsCache bit now indicates that the
page is being written to the cache and shouldn't be modified or released
until it's finished.

Change releasepage and invalidatepage to wait on that bit before
returning.

Also define FSCACHE_USE_NEW_IO_API so that we opt into the new fscache
API.

With the new netfs read helper functions, we won't need a lot of this
infrastructure as it handles the pagecache pages itself. Rip out the
read handling for now, and much of the old infrastructure that deals in
individual pages.

The cookie handling is mostly unchanged, however.

Jeff Layton a8810cdc00 ceph: allow queueing cap/snap handling after putting cap references
Testing with the fscache overhaul has triggered some lockdep warnings
about circular lock dependencies involving page_mkwrite and the
mmap_lock. It'd be better to do the "real work" without the mmap lock
being held.

Change the skip_checking_caps parameter in __ceph_put_cap_refs to an
enum, and use that to determine whether to queue check_caps, do it
synchronously or not at all. Change ceph_page_mkwrite to do a
ceph_put_cap_refs_async().

Jeff Layton 50c9132ddf ceph: add new RECOVER mount_state when recovering session
When recovering a session (a'la recover_session=clean), we want to do
all of the operations that we do on a forced umount, but changing the
mount state to SHUTDOWN is can cause queued MDS requests to fail when
the session comes back. Most of those can idle until the session is
recovered in this situation.

Reserve SHUTDOWN state for forced umount, and make a new RECOVER state
for the forced reconnect situation. Change several tests for equality with
SHUTDOWN to test for that or RECOVER.
