Christophe JAILLET 19453f34cf IB/mthca: Use non-atomic bitmap functions when possible in 'mthca_allocator.c'
The accesses to the 'alloc->table' bitmap are protected by the
'alloc->lock' spinlock, so no concurrent accesses can happen.

So prefer the non-atomic '__[set|clear]_bit()' functions to save a few
cycles.

Christophe JAILLET a277f38321 IB/mthca: Use bitmap_set() when applicable
The 'alloc->table' bitmap has just been allocated, so this is safe to use
the faster and non-atomic 'bitmap_set()' function. There is no need to
hand-write it.

Christophe JAILLET 12d1e2f3c5 IB/mthca: Use bitmap_zalloc() when applicable
Use 'bitmap_zalloc()' to simplify code, improve the semantic and avoid
some open-coded arithmetic in allocator arguments.

Using the 'zalloc' version of the allocator also saves a now useless
'bitmap_zero()' call.

Also change the corresponding 'kfree()' into 'bitmap_free()' to keep
consistency.

Fuqian Huang 4c44d4634b IB: Remove unneeded memset
In commit af7ddd8a62 ("Merge tag 'dma-mapping-4.21' of
git://git.infradead.org/users/hch/dma-mapping"),
dma_alloc_coherent/dmam_alloc_coherent always zeroed the returned memory.
So the memset after a coherent allocation function is not needed.

Kees Cook 6da2ec5605 treewide: kmalloc() -> kmalloc_array()
The kmalloc() function has a 2-factor argument form, kmalloc_array(). This
patch replaces cases of:

        kmalloc(a * b, gfp)

with:
        kmalloc_array(a * b, gfp)

as well as handling cases of:

        kmalloc(a * b * c, gfp)

with:

        kmalloc(array3_size(a, b, c), gfp)

as it's slightly less ugly than:

        kmalloc_array(array_size(a, b), c, gfp)

This does, however, attempt to ignore constant size factors like:

        kmalloc(4 * 1024, gfp)

though any constants defined via macros get caught up in the conversion.

Any factors with a sizeof() of "unsigned char", "char", and "u8" were
dropped, since they're redundant.

The tools/ directory was manually excluded, since it has its own
implementation of kmalloc().

Roland Dreier 5a4e6dccbc IB/mthca: Use IRQ safe locks to protect allocation bitmaps
It is supposed to be OK to call mthca_create_ah() and mthca_destroy_ah()
from any context.  However, for mem-full HCAs, these functions use the
mthca_alloc() and mthca_free() bitmap helpers, and those helpers use
non-IRQ-safe spin_lock() internally.  Lockdep correctly warns that
this could lead to a deadlock.  Fix this by changing mthca_alloc() and
mthca_free() to use spin_lock_irqsave().

Michael S. Tsirkin bf74c7479e IB/mthca: Fix mthca_array_clear() thinko
mthca_array_clear() does not clear the slot if the used count is
positive. This leads to crashes in mthca_qp_event() since that uses
mthca_array_get() to check that the qp is valid.

Discovered by Ali Ayoub.

Roland Dreier 87b816706b [PATCH] IB/mthca: Factor out common queue alloc code
Clean up the allocation of memory for queues by factoring out the
common code into mthca_buf_alloc() and mthca_buf_free().  Now CQs and
QPs share the same queue allocation code, which we'll also use for SRQs.

Linus Torvalds 1da177e4c3 Linux-2.6.12-rc2
Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history,
even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git
archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about
3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early
git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good
infrastructure for it.

Let it rip!
