There is a variable name mismatch in acpi_ut_strtoul_multiply64() between the ACPICA code in the kernel and the corresponding upstream code which may be problematic if changes to this particular piece of code are made upstream and ported to Linux, so rename the variable in question to match its name in the upstream code. These guides can be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or ``make pdfdocs``. There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory, several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation. See Documentation/00-INDEX for a list of what is contained in each file.
