Thank you for resisting. :-)
>> I originally thought GTK# would be well cared for because major apps

>> wizards behind such apps are using a "custom GTK#" they tweaked to
>> work for them while the main GTK# distribution, um, ... rots? Sorry
>> for the strong word, but I don't see any GTK# love in these release

>
> Please don't appeal to conspiracy when there is no evidence of such. I
> think the explanation is simple: Gtk/Gtk# developers don't use Macs.

I didn't appeal to conspiracy; you just read it that way. I appealed
to *process*. I see MonoDevelop and gedit working great on Mac (which
btw falsies the statement "Gtk/Gtk# developers don't use Macs.") while
simultaneously Mono GTK# apps cannot handle basic operations like
resizing, clicking and scrolling. So I speculate there is something
missing in the Mono development and/or release process.
> I'm not a 'core' Gtk# developers, but I use Monodevelop hours every day
> - but I also don't own, use, or test on a Mac [over priced proprietary
> hardware & OS].

Aww, I thought you were resisting...
The hardware is not proprietary. You can install Linux, BSD and
Windows on a Mac.
> If developers don't use Macs,

Where did you get that idea? The developers behind MonoDevelop and
gedit for Mac obviously do.
> and Mac users don't report bugs, then....

And I just opened a discussion on bugs in this thread!
