[Gtk-sharp-list] problem with gui.glade Line 1- Invalid XML entity

Using fedora core 2 and just installed the mono rpms
Trying to follow the tutorial titled
Glade# for Rapid Development: Simple Web Browser

So opening monodevelop and select C# template
and Glade# for project type

The problem after saving the glade# window design
is that it wont build and cant be reopened

as I get  Line 1  - Invalid XML entity
