[Mono-osx] Garbled characters

Hi all,

i'm running my application in the MonoDevelop but the characters with
accents are garbled, they appear with this symbol: �.

I try to put the compilation and the globalization tag in the web.config but
it doesn't work.

Anyone know what can cause this issue?

PS: I'm work in a Mac OS Leopard.
