[Mono-osx] Runs on Ubuntu, not OS X

Creator built in Visual Studio, but he says it runs in Mono on Ubuntu.

on OS X, 'file' says it is a Windows executable, not a Mono executable.

sh-3.2# file /usr/local/bin/bep*exe
/usr/local/bin/bepoe_setup_1.0.exe: PE32 executable for MS Windows (GUI)
Intel 80386 32-bit
sh-3.2# mono !$
mono /usr/local/bin/bep*exe
Cannot open assembly '/usr/local/bin/bepoe_setup_1.0.exe': File does not
contain a valid CIL image.

Can't build it from source either, but that's another thread.
