<PRE>As a windows developer I would also recommend using the 'standard' =
locations on windows. I think what you've done however is fantastic and =
is something I've been waiting for for ages! I understand your feelings =
on the matter, however think of it this way, what if a windows developer =
released an app for linux and decided to create a Program Files =
directory, I think you know what the response would be like ! I've never =
ben able to remember what all the different locations are under Linux, =
at least windows is simpler.
Many many thanks for your efforts! We will be having a look at it.=20

Subject: [Possible SPAM] Re: [Gtk-sharp-list] alternative GTKSharp .15
installer for VS .NET
Your criticism also missed that I am &quot;non-compliant&quot; by putting an
&quot;uninstall&quot; link in the Start Menu. Will Father Gates forgive me from
straying from the truth path?
I hate the Program Files folder. But if you have a love for it, I =
could
write a function in the installer for you &quot;standards compliant&quot; people.
Function .OnInit
MessageBox MB_YESNO|MB_ICONQUESTION &quot;Do you wish the installer to be MSI
compliant?&quot; IDNO ThinkDifferent
EndFunction
Function ILoveGates
InstallDir &quot;$PROGRAMFILES\${MUI_PRODUCT}&quot;
EndFunction
Function ThinkDifferent
InstallDir =3D &quot;C:\gnu\lib\gtksharp&quot;
EndFunction
------
Would this be sufficient?
