--- Comment #2 from Mike Morano &lt;<A HREF="http://lists.ximian.com/mailman/listinfo/mono-bugs">mmorano at mikeandwan.us</A>&gt; 2008-09-04 18:30:55 MDT ---
Thanks Atsushi for your comments. I recognize that there is no net_3_5 profile
as you explained. I was just caught by surprise that my application broke in
this way (I don't have a MS system to test this out with, so this might be
exactly how it behaves).
I'm happy to add the remove statement as you suggest in your comment to my
application, and think this is sufficient to close out this item, but I
strongly feel that this step should be documented via the mono-project wiki on
the ASP.Net page that discusses AJAX functionality and configuration.
Additionally, if the man pages speak about ajax support, it might be useful to
add a link to the wiki that can further discuss how this can be correctly
configured if the app intends to run with only assemblies that shipped as part
of 2.0 (which might cause others pain during porting from MS.net to Mono).
Thanks for your time,
Mike
