New to Mono, spent all nite rtfm and searchin this list. Can't seem to

resolve this:

Every time I try to invoke mcs (even mcs --version) I get
|
|
|
|
WARNING **: Could not find assembly System
|
|
cannot open assembly /usr/bin/mcs.exe
|
|
|
|
I have emerge mono gtk-sharp giving me mono 0.28. I was gonna do the
|
|
CVS thingy
|
|
but I can't even compile a hello world app let along a compiler right
|
|
now :P
|
|
|
|
Sry if I missed the answer somewhere, thank you for the help
|
