Removed some MKLINUX & MACLINUX ifdefs. Replace a couple with (defined(linux) && defined(__powerpc__)).
Added glibc ifndefs to strdup declarations. Fixed problem with stderr under glibc 2.1. Patch submitted by Tom Rini <trini@kernel.crashing.org>.
