alwu 0d200dff8a Bug 1640998 - part7 : create `MediaController` webidl. r=chunmin,smaug
This patch will
- create a chrome-only webdil interface `MediaController`
- expose supported keys via `MediaController` webidl interface

The advantage of doing so are
- to have a dedicated interface that is only used for MediaController that can be used for testing and our future plan (media hub)

More Details :
Currently, we access media controller's from `ChromeUtils` [1], but it causes a problem of creating a duplicated enum of the enum which we want to expose into Chrome JS.

Instead, we should create a media controller interface to access all its attibutes, which is more easier and clean.

In addition, we're planning to have a something like Chrome's media hub [2]. In order to do that, we have to expose some JS methods to allow us to control playback directly from Chrome JS.

Kartikaya Gupta 7ac36807b1 Bug 1643042 - Turn the scroll origin parameter into a strongly-typed enum. r=tnikkel
This patch is a fairly mechanical conversion. The old `nullptr` gets converted
to ScrollOrigin::NotSpecified, and all the other possible values get corresponding
values in the new ScrollOrigin enum. A few switch statements are introduced to
clean up big if statements, but other than that, additional cleanups will happen
in later patches.

Emilio Cobos Álvarez 31d642347c Bug 1599160 - Fix build error with nsTHashtable<const SheetLoadDataHashKey>. r=froydnj

I tried and failed to std::enable_if my way to victory, but then
realized I could probably use nsTHashtable<const SheetLoadDataHashKey>,
so that the compiler wouldn't complain about the overload (they're
identical, so they don't really matter).

But doesn't work either, unless I have this patch, because:

This unifies toolbarbutton-text and toolbarbutton-multiline-text. We now
always use toolbarbutton-text for the button's text, but can either use
textContent or the value attribute, depending on the value of the wrap
attribute. This reduces DOM size and consumer complexity, at the cost of
adding some logic to toolbarbutton.js itself.

Peter Van der Beken 84814fdc97 Bug 1632759 - Remove unnecessary kungFuDeathGrip. r=erahm
The problem in https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=325392 was
misdiagnosed and then a generic fix in
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=485834 (the kungFuDeathGrip
in nsObserverService::RemoveObserver) was based on the wrong diagnosis.
The root problem in bug 325392 was not that we were calling
nsObserverService::RemoveObserver from the destructor, and then
reentering the destructor. The refcounting code stabilizes the refcount
to 1 before calling the destructor to avoid reentering a destructor. The
real problem was that we were deleting an XPCOM object manually after
creation but without ever holding a strong reference to it, and so not
going through the refcount stabilization (and then the destructor can
reenter of course).

The generic fix in bug 485834 was based on the spotfix in bug 325392,
that was then backed out when the proper fix for that bug landed. I
don't think we should keep this kungfuDeathGrip, I ran into it because
it causes issues with refcount logging (refcount logging always had an
issue with refcounting from a destructor).

Also move MOZ_MUST_USE before function declarations' specifiers and return type. While clang and gcc's __attribute__((warn_unused_result)) can appear before, between, or after function specifiers and return types, the [[nodiscard]] attribute must precede the function specifiers.

Also remove MOZ_MUST_USE from nsIMemoryReporter's function pointer typedefs. [[nodiscard]] is an attribute of a function's declaration, not the function's type, and thus can't be applied to function pointers or lambdas.

Simon Giesecke 58d0171406 Bug 1620632 - Ensure nsTArray_Impl only declares a copy-constructor/assignment operator if E is copy-constructible. r=froydnj
To correctly implement this, it must be known on instantiation whether E is
copy-constructible, which is not the case if only a forward declaration is
available. This can be resolved either by making sure a full definition of E is
available, which is preferable. But in cases where this is not (easily) possible,
the information can be explicitly provided by the MOZ_DECLARE_COPY_CONSTRUCTIBLE
and MOZ_DECLARE_NON_COPY_CONSTRUCTIBLE macros. In particular, declarations for
IPDL-declared types are added to nsTArray.h itself, like it was already done
for MOZ_DECLARE_RELOCATE_USING_MOVE_CONSTRUCTOR.

Emilio Cobos Álvarez 664a546418 Bug 1618260 - Fix number input so that it honors overflow-clip-box-block. r=mats
This never worked, but it's more visible with the new form controls which have
more padding.

Make the anonymous div and co a pseudo-element, so that they inherit from the
<input> properly in all cases. This works for non-number inputs because the
editor root is a direct child of the <input>, but it doesn't for number inputs
because there's a flex wrapper in between.

This way overflow-clip-box: inherit does what we want. Reset the padding in the
inline direction, as the padding for <input type=number> applies to the arrow
boxes as well, and thus we'd double-apply it.

Mike Shal d8e4653d19 Bug 1611326 - Default to py3_action, and add a py2 attribute to GENERATED_FILES; r=firefox-build-system-reviewers,rstewart
GENERATED_FILES now defaults to python3 unless py2=True is specified as
an argument. All existing GENERATED_FILES scripts and GeneratedFile
templates have the py2=True attribute added, so this patch should
effectively be a no-op.

Going forward, individual scripts can be converted to python3 and their
corresponding py2=True attribute can be deleted. In effect, this patch
will be backed out in pieces until all scripts run in python3, at which
point the py2 attribute itself can be removed.

This removes nsTreeColumns::RestoreNaturalOrder, which requires the ordinal attribute to function. It only has one consumer: toolkit/content/widgets/tree.js. This dumps more information about the surface cache. Each surface has a

Makoto Kato a94e918a29 Bug 1574307 - Part 1. Parse viewport-fit in meta element. r=smaug
For safe area insets (cutout) support, CSS Round Display Level 1 (https://drafts.csswg.org/css-round-display/#viewport-fit-descriptor) has new viewport value as `viewport-fit`.

To support safe area insets that is notch on display, CSS Environment Variables Module Level 1 (https://drafts.csswg.org/css-env-1/#safe-area-insets) adds `safearea-insets-*` (left, top, right and bottom). Also, `meta` element has `viewport-fit` enum value. (ex `<meta name="viewport" content="viewport-fit=cover>`) whether web browser window cover notch area.

`viewport-fit` has 3 enum value, `auto`, `cover` and `contain`. GeckoView wants to expose this value to browser application such Fenix. Because Android API (https://developer.android.com/guide/topics/display-cutout) uses window root layout (It is set by Application) to cover notch on display.

Then running `./mach clang-format -c <commit-hash>`

Then undoing that patch.

Then running check_spidermonkey_style.py --fixup

Then running `./mach clang-format`

I had to fix four things:

 * I needed to move <utility> back down in GuardObjects.h because I was hitting
obscure problems with our system include wrappers like this:

0:03.94 /usr/include/stdlib.h:550:14: error: exception specification in declaration does not match previous declaration

0:03.94 #define realloc_impl mozmem_malloc_impl(realloc)

Which I really didn't feel like digging into.

 * I had to restore the order of TrustOverrideUtils.h and related files in nss
because the .inc files depend on TrustOverrideUtils.h being included earlier.

 * I had to add a missing include to RollingNumber.h

 * Also had to partially restore include order in JsepSessionImpl.cpp to avoid
some -WError issues due to some static inline functions being defined in a
header but not used in the rest of the compilation unit.
