Emilio Cobos Álvarez 2f5607b8d0 Bug 1642221 - Rename SheetLoadData::mLoaderPrincipal to mTriggeringPrincipal. r=jwatt
I'm about to introduce the concept of "Loader principal" (as in "the
principal of the CSS loader"), and SheetLoadData already has an
mLoaderPrincipal.

However SheetLoadData's principal is just the triggering principal (the
principal that initiated the load). So name it that with consistency
with SheetInfo::mTriggeringPrincipal etc.

As per https://github.com/w3c/csswg-drafts/issues/5049.

Don't enable it unconditionally just yet, as the name may change.

I had to move some rules in forms.css because otherwise you get
specificity conflicts.

Emilio Cobos Álvarez dcec1f3697 Bug 1639852 - Don't collect pseudo-element rules for pseudo-elements that cannot apply. r=rcaliman
This prevents showing e.g. ::cue pseudo-elements for elements that are
not videos, and such.

This is useful on its own, but it's going to be even more useful because
I'm making some rules in the UA sheets less specific in the blocking
bugs.

For example, after my patches, the number of expected rules in
test_styles-applied was 24 (instead of 9 with this patch). That's just
too much noise.

Emilio Cobos Álvarez 449d4bf816 Bug 1617746 - Deal with duplicate adopted stylesheets correctly. r=nordzilla
This also fixes some other bits, like mAdoptedStyleSheets.ElementAt(0) (which
really should be "the first applicable adopted stylesheet") and so on. Added a
test for that.

The new invariant also implies that a DocumentOrShadowRoot can't appear twice in
StyleSheet::mAdopters.

Also clears adopted stylesheets in Document::ResetStylesheetsToURI, as it's the
right thing to do (if you hit that code path with constructable sheets you'd end
up asserting, as we'd call FillStyleSetDocumentSheets after and find sheets in
there). I don't quite have a test-case for that though.

Emilio Cobos Álvarez 86a70df5d7 Bug 1607006 - Remove utf-16 versions of nsCSSProps::LookupProperty* and ServoCSSParser::ComputeColor. r=bzbarsky
Now that we have UTF8String in the WebIDL, we can remove quite a few of the
conversions. Do that, and lift the remaining string conversions up as needed.

Also deindent Servo_ComputeColor while touching it.

Most of the remaining copies are because either bug 1606994, or because they're
WebIDL attributes that we still need to serialize back as UTF-16 (bug 1606995).

The inclusions were removed with the following very crude script and the
resulting breakage was fixed up by hand. The manual fixups did either
revert the changes done by the script, replace a generic header with a more
specific one or replace a header with a forward declaration.

Emilio Cobos Álvarez 3b3de3f3e7 Bug 1590280 - Allow to use the sheet cache to avoid parsing as long as CSSOM hasn't mutated the stylesheet. r=heycam
We need to ensure we have a unique inner so that ruleLists and such have the
right pointer identity (we could do better, really, but it's harder).

But as long as the CSSOM hasn't modified them there should be no reason not to
use the cache. We can do a deep clone synchronously instead of refetching /
reparsing.

This is important because, as of right now, just using the inspector makes the
stylesheets unique, which is unfortunate.

We'll still have the modified rule bit for sheets with @import, because our
notification system for @import is silly, and on parents of imported sheets.

Fixing those are future improvements, but I see no reason not to land this.

This was generated with:

```
rg -l -g '*.{cpp,h}' MOZ_XBL . | while read FILE ; do
   unifdef -m -UMOZ_XBL $FILE
done
```

After this, I manually removed the directive in nsContentUtils.cpp due to:

  unifdef: Output may be truncated

Daniel Holbert 1d091bf238 Bug 1590639 part 6: Fix non-unified build issues in layout/inspector. r=emilio
This patch:
- Gives ServoStyleRuleMap.cpp an include for Element.h (to provide that type).
- Gives inDeepTreeWalker.cpp a mozilla::dom prefix for its one use of Document.
- Gives inLayoutUtils.cpp a "using" decl for mozilla::dom, so we can compile
  with the many un-namespaced "Document" and "Element" usages in that file.

Per the discussion in:

  https://groups.google.com/d/msg/mozilla.dev.platform/P79pwa9z5m8/iPYPAWPHCAAJ

They should be CamelCase, and that's what most of them already do. This converts
the rest, which are a few.

For the ones that already used `e` or `k` prefixes, I've mostly done:

 for file in $(rg Type::e layout | cut -d : -f 1 | sort | uniq); do sed -i 's#Type::e#Type::#g' $file; done

For the ones that used uppercase, I've removed the prefix if it was already in
the type name, and turn them into CamelCase.

To be more similar between Rust and C++. This introduces GenericFontFamily and
exposes that plus FontFamilyNameSyntax to C++, using that where appropriate

As a follow-up, as discussed on IRC with Jonathan, we can remove the -moz-fixed

The only non-trivial change is the MatchType changes, but they're ok I think.
The code already assumed at most one CSS generic, and the struct still takes 8

Masayuki Nakano 9273f25ce2 Bug 1540015 - part 3: Rename Document::GetShell() to Document::GetPresShell() and make it return PresShell* rather than nsIPresShell* r=smaug,emilio
This makes `Document::GetShell()` return `PresShell*` instead of `nsIPresShell`.

Additonally, "shell" is unclear ("docshell" vs. "presshell"). Therefore, this
also renames `Document::GetShell()` to `Document::GetPresShell()`.

Similarly, some other method names of `Document` are also renamed from
`*Shell*` to `*PresShell*`.

Masayuki Nakano 854606257b Bug 1540015 - part 1: Make Document.h stop including nsIPresShell.h r=smaug
If `Document::GetShell()` returns `PresShell*` rather than `nsIPresShell`, it's
a good step to deCOMTaminate `PresShell`.

This patch makes `Document.h` stop including `nsIPresShell.h` since
`nsIPresShell.h` includes `Document.h` indirectly and that causes bustage
when we make `Document::GetShell()` return `PresShell*`.

Emilio Cobos Álvarez 0b5807bc62 Bug 1215878 - Implement CSS revert keyword. r=heycam,birtles
The only fishy bit is the animation stuff. In particular, there are two places
where we just mint the revert behavior:

 * When serializing web-animations keyframes (the custom properties stuff in
   declaration_block.rs). That codepath is already not sound and I wanted to
   get rid of it in bug 1501530, but what do I know.

 * When getting an animation value from a property declaration. At that point
   we no longer have the CSS rules that apply to the element to compute the
   right revert value handy. It'd also use the wrong style anyway, I think,
   given the way StyleBuilder::for_animation works.

   We _could_ probably get them out of somewhere, but it seems like a whole lot
   of code reinventing the wheel which is probably not useful, and that Blink
   and WebKit just cannot implement either since they don't have a rule tree,
   so it just doesn't seem worth the churn.

The custom properties code looks a bit different in order to minimize hash
lookups in the common case. FWIW, `revert` for custom properties doesn't seem
very useful either, but oh well.

Emilio Cobos Álvarez dad3a20b22 Bug 1525955 - Include anon boxes in CSSPseudoElementType, to remove ComputedStyle::mPseudoTag. r=heycam
This is more consistent with what the Rust bits of the style system do, and
removes a pointer from ComputedStyle which is always nice.

This also aligns the Rust bits with the C++ bits re. not treating xul pseudos as
anonymous boxes. See the comment in nsTreeStyleCache.cpp regarding those.

Can't wait for XUL trees to die.

Kris Maglione e930b89c34 Bug 1514594: Part 3 - Change ChromeUtils.import API.
***
Bug 1514594: Part 3a - Change ChromeUtils.import to return an exports object; not pollute global. r=mccr8

This changes the behavior of ChromeUtils.import() to return an exports object,
rather than a module global, in all cases except when `null` is passed as a
second argument, and changes the default behavior not to pollute the global
scope with the module's exports. Thus, the following code written for the old
model:

  ChromeUtils.import("resource://gre/modules/Services.jsm");

is approximately the same as the following, in the new model:

  var {Services} = ChromeUtils.import("resource://gre/modules/Services.jsm");

Since the two behaviors are mutually incompatible, this patch will land with a
scripted rewrite to update all existing callers to use the new model rather
than the old.

Emilio Cobos Álvarez d2ed260822 Bug 1517241 - Rename nsIDocument to mozilla::dom::Document. r=smaug
Summary: Really sorry for the size of the patch. It's mostly automatic
s/nsIDocument/Document/ but I had to fix up in a bunch of places manually to
add the right namespacing and such.

Overall it's not a very interesting patch I think.

nsDocument.cpp turns into Document.cpp, nsIDocument.h into Document.h and
nsIDocumentInlines.h into DocumentInlines.h.

I also changed a bunch of nsCOMPtr usage to RefPtr, but not all of it.

While fixing up some of the bits I also removed some unneeded OwnerDoc() null
checks and such, but I didn't do anything riskier than that.
