Using namespace id fixes this issue because in Gecko, the pref of MathML (as well as SVG) works in the way that we choose a different namespace id (the disabled id) for the elements. Those ids are mapped to the same namespace atom as normal ids, which means if we use the atom, we would treat the elements like normal mathml elements.

According to the spec, the computed value of transform is as specified, but
with relative lengths converted into absolute lengths, so in Gecko, we do
nothing while computing the value of rotate3d(), and do normalization in
ProcessRotate3D(). If the direction cannot be normalized, we treat it as
an identity matrix.
However, in Servo, we do normalization in to_computed_value(), and looks
like we are trying to normalize any kind of direction vectors, so according
to the spec, let's move the normalization into Fragment::transform_matrix(),
and return an identity matrix if we cannot normalize its direction vector.

We added this because a year ago we had no reliable Gecko CI. This meant that Gecko-only properties needed to be tested *somehow*, and we solved that by making it so that for unit tests we compile all properties, not just the servo ones.
This was useful back then, but I don't think we need this anymore. We have reliable Gecko CI, and all the gecko-only stuff we tested is adequately handled by the properties-database parsing mochitests. It's a bit of annoying cruft that just complicates things; we probably should remove it.

Unless the element is in a display:none subtree.
After bug 1356141, the setup of animation-only dirty bit should have matched
to normal dirty bit's one (Though they don't match in post traversal due to
throttled animation flush). An unset_animation_only_dirty_descendants call
removed in this patch cleared dirty bits which are needed for post traversal if
there is a second animation-only traversal and if there is no need to restyle
for the second animation-only traversal.
The reftest in this patch fails without either this fix or the fix for bug
1367975.

stylo_test's build script is split between Python and Rust. style's
build script already has to perform complicated dances to determine an
appropriate binary to execute, depending on the platform. To avoid
copying and pasting that code, it seems reasonable to simply port the
Python code into Rust, thus making the relationship between generated
files and the cargo dependency output clearer. The new Rust is somewhat
more verbose, but not terribly so.
Doing this makes running `stylo_test` on Windows somewhat easier, as
we don't have to care about the particulars of Python executables. And
more Rust is more better.

Some properties only accept non-negative values, or values greater than or equal to one. It is possible to produce an negative interpolated values while using negative timing functions, so we have to apply a restriction to these values to avoid getting invalid values.
For example, line-height must be non-negative, but the output progress of some timing functions (e,g. cubic-bezier(0.25, -2, 0.75, 1)) may be a negative value, so the interpolated result of line-height is also negative.

Avoid adding id selectors that are in the rule hash keyed by that ID to the list
of revalidation selectors.
This partially fixes bug 1369611 (we could look at the rule hash itself to avoid
inserting some more into the list of revalidation selectors).

`stylo_tests` currently requires a separate version of the `style` crate, compiled with the `testing` feature, so a function testing the size of specified values can be accessed. With a few tweaks, we can make the information needed for the test available to the `stylo_tests` crate directly, eliminating the need for a separately-compiled `style` crate.
This doesn't matter much for Servo itself (it might make CI times slightly faster?), but Gecko automation/development would like to run `stylo_tests`, and not having to compile two versions of the `style` crate (or have a dead, test-only function hanging around in the `style` crate) would be a win.

In order to properly handle CSS clipping, we need to keep track of what
the different kinds of clips that we have. On one hand, clipping due to
overflow rules should respect the containing block hierarchy, while CSS
clipping should respect the flow tree hierarchy. In order to represent
the complexity of items that are scrolled via one clip/scroll frame and
clipped by another we keep track of that status with a
ClipAndScrollInfo.

The traversal currently expects every flow to have a scroll root id
assigned, even if it doesn't produce any display items. This change

Unfortunately this means that we lose the NS_STYLE_INHERIT_BIT optimization to
avoid posting changes if we had not requested the struct. In practice, I'm not
sure this optimization matters much, though, and we already compare all the
structs anyway.
We _could_ keep a weak parent pointer from the text style if needed, given we're
going to keep alive the text style at least until the parent style context goes
away, so should be safe, but I don't think the extra churn is worth it, to be
honest. Happy to do so as part of bug 1368290 if you think it's worth it.

The patch provides FFI access to Gecko's SeenPtrs type from Rust, in
order to record what has already been measured when measuring Arcs. (The
SeenPtrs must be initialized on the Gecko side because the same table is
reused for measuring all Elements within a window, because Elements can
share ComputedValues.) I have confirmed with DMD that this is working
correctly.
The patch also introduces MallocSizeOfRepeats, which is like
MallocSizeOf but takes a SizeOfState, which holds a SeenPtrs table.

This PR speculatively calls paint worklets during style, which increases the concurrency, since it increases the chance that the cache will have the right result in it when it comes to layout. The speculation is wasted effort if the size of the element has changed, but this is often not the case.

Currently, attempting to parse an at-rule that is out of place, such as
an @import rule after a regular style rule, will cause the parser state
to be set to Invalid. This will cause any following at-rule to be
rejected until we encounter a regular style rule, at which point we'll
go back to the Body state. There's nothing in the CSS specs about
needing to reject all following at-rules (or, as the comment above
Invalid says, ignoring the entire rest of the style sheet).

The Tokenizer, defined in the file `async_html.rs` will run on the main thread, while h5e's `Tokenizer`(along with its Sink) lives on the parser thread. Both h5e's `Tokenizer` and `Sink` communicate with the main thread Tokenizer via their own mpsc channels. The Sink keeps sending parser operations to the main thread, to be executed. For some operations, it waits for a message from the main thread before returning.

We skipped updating the rule nodes for visited rules during animation-only restyle.

We have optimizations to avoid doing selector-matching when the style attribute
changes, so, given you can toggle the display property and the pseudo-elements
will suddenly become effective, we can't really skip them.
Furthermore, we assume that if an element has an ElementStyles, they're
up-to-date and we can use them for getComputedStyle, so it's pretty easy to
prove that we do the wrong thing when calling getComputedStyle with a
pseudo-element on a display: none root.

Selector-matching can backtrack when looking for ancestor combinators, so we
can't just arrive there once and forget.
Also, there was a further problem before this patch, which was that
note_next_sequence was called _before_ checking whether all simple selectors
matched, so the sequence you could get there is just wrong.

CSS animations used to erroneously indicate that 'animation-play-state' is permitted in @keyframes. It is not and it'ss non-sensical to allow it there. This mistake was faithfully transferred into Servo code (although we also make 'animation-timing-function' which is what the spec text meant to say).
The spec has [been updated](adeb3434c5) and so we should update the Servo code accordingly.

DO NOT MERGE until https://github.com/servo/webrender/pull/1399 has landed in Servo.
Previously webrender was reserving 1MB of space for each display list (empirically pages weighed between 100k and 10MB when I implemented this). This was problematic for gecko because they used webrender differently. This just brings Servo back to where it was.

This fixes the serialization issue of `@supports` rule that whitespaces are not preserved like in other browsers.
It makes the work a bit redundant (the property name and colon is parsed twice), but I suppose this isn't a big deal.

We fail bindgen layout tests on 32 bit because FontComputationData does not accurately reflect the size/alignment of the rust-side replacement.
We move it to the end so that alignment is more straightforward, and
use a NonZero enum so that the representation can be more accurately
handled on the C++ side.

These are the bugs I discovered while I was re-enabling the disabled grid mochitests. Now all grid mochitests are passing! Additionally I converted `Vec<CustomIdent>`'s into `Box<[CustomIdent]>`. We are storing so many line names in vectors. These should help a bit.

While decomposing a 3D matrix, we should normalize the 2nd row right after the
Y scale computation. However, we accidentally use the length of the 1st row to
do the normalization. This causes the wrong Scale3D function while decomposing,
and then leads to the wrong decomposed 3D matrix.
Here, we correct it by using the right value (the length of the 2nd row).

The `stylearc` alias is left there temporarilly and will be removed completely in a later commit/PR where also `components/style/gecko/generated/structs_{debug|release}.rs` are re-generated (they still use the old alias).

A lot of people are hitting this in [1]. I think having style (just potentially out-of-date) is less likely to cause weird crashes than failing to style the element entirely, so it's not worth inflicting this level of crashiness on the dogfood population.

We maintain a stack of open element nodes with their children count, popping from the top of the stack and closing when the count reaches zero.
Contrary to my comment in #16696, this is a purely iterative algorithm. I just wasn't feeling sufficiently clever with respect to finding a relatively clean way until later.

It was storing both TrackSize and TrackRepeat before and TrackRepeat have to be
converted into sequence of TrackSize during serialization. Instead of doing this
in serialization process(which is hard and hacky), we converted to do this in
parsing process. We were doing this conversion in the ComputedValue conversion.
So we only had to move this process to parsing.

This patch contains two small changes:
* Fix the font size calculation that is passed to Freetype. This
now matches exactly how Webrender and Gecko calculate font size
to pass to layout.
* Enable light hinting by default for fonts when using Freetype.
We should make this configurable in the future, but this is a
better default than no hinting (and matches what most Linux
distros default to).
These two changes (along with the pending WR update) fix a lot
of the font layout issues on Linux. There is still at least one
remaining issue with hidpi displays on Linux that will be fixed
in a follow up patch.

**Can't run WPT on my computer, so pushing here to run tests 😢**
Have CharacterData.SetData call children_changed on its parent when
data is set (if it is a Text node) so that HTMLStyleElement parents can
re-parse. Add variant ChildrenMutation::Text for it to use as the
mutation.
This fixes an issue where an empty <style> element's data is set but the
style is not updated. An HTMLStyleElement parent re-parses in its
children_changed implementation.

The clip for overflow:scroll clip was not including the space for
padding, which could lead to some content being clipped when it
shouldn't. This changes fixes that issue.
A test is skipped because this fix also stops hiding a failure due to
mispositioned text.
Fixes#16576.

In multiple places, instead of generated similar code for each CSS property, have a single code path that uses an enum such as `LonghandId`.

Machine code size is measured with [bloaty](https://github.com/google/bloaty), looking at the total "VM size" in order to exclude debug info (which is stripped in binaries shipped to users).

Initial size was 9.56Mi. Successive commits in this PR bring it to 9.55Mi, 9.51Mi, 9.44Mi, 9.31Mi, 8.89Mi, 8.89Mi, and 7.54Mi. Total savings: 2.02 MiB.
In an optimized Firefox build with `mach build && mach package`, the size of `obj-x86_64-pc-linux-gnu/dist/firefox/libxul.so` goes from 109.11 MiB to 107.49 MiB, saving 1.62 MiB. I don’t really know how to explain the difference. Does `libgeckoservo.a` contain code that ends up not being used in `libxul.so`?

This reverts commit ebfc8f585834948f9b7564ffe382a6e266edf738, reversing
changes made to 5585ff2c440dc27c8e98e834c9c0e9d956581b8e.
Animation code can reenter and create a new TLS context from the traversal
SequentialTask, so this won't work as written, and it's making test fails.
