Bug 1009961 - Remove code to drop displayport if it exceeds B2G max texture size. r=tn

This code is no longer needed because tiling is enabled on all
scrollable layers on B2G, and so we only draw tile-sized chunks
of the displayport. Therefore the textures created will never
exceed the max texture size. On non-B2G platforms this code is
not used anyway so there is no effect. Going forward we should
always be enabling tiling before enabling APZ on new platforms
so it is unlikely that we will need this code.

This is an additional bit on nsRestyleHint that says that the restyling
operation should also perform all the work needed to switch between
style-without-animation and style-with-animation (based on
nsPresContext::IsProcessingAnimationStyleChange). These concepts will
go away in bug 960465.
Note that we don't want this behavior for the animation-only style
update code (bug 996796, etc.), and I wanted to make this explicit so
that it was clear when it was happening, and so that it was clear what
code should be removed when we git rid of it.
This is the workaround needed to land bug 977991 prior to bug 960465.
(I think there's also a minor dependency in the other direction, so we
need a workaround one way or the other.)
Note that this depends on bug 1057231.

This is needed because patch 1 and patch 3 did not add a mechanism that
allows restyling pseudo-elements, which would be substantially more work
and very little use (since the only case in which they have style
attributes is for our internal use on the ::-moz-color-swatch
pseudo-element).
RestyleUndisplayedChildren does not need the same fix because it's only
used on elements, and never on pseudo-elements or anonymous boxes.

StyleAttrSheet cascade level will be replaced, which avoids running
selector matching.
Part 4 will ensure that we only invoke this code for element styles (and
not pseudo-element or anonymous box styles). Despite that, I prefer
having the runtime check here as well given that it's a very simple way
to ensure we don't do something silly that might have security
implications.

This is only a very slight reordering of their position in the cascade,
since they were previously walked at the end of
nsSVGElement::WalkContentStyleRules, which was called near the end of

now take priority over the xml:lang rule added by nsHTMLStyleSheet, a
rule with which they do not interact.

Note that this bumps the maximum sheetType from 8 to 9 (and number of

bits and allows a maximum of 15.

This patch series (to move SVG Animation rules to their own level of the
cascade) is needed so that they can participate in the mechanism for
updating only animation styles to the present time without touching any
other styles.
In theory, this should have been done as part of 996796 or even as part
of prior work on off main thread animations, except that it doesn't seem
possible to have SVG Animations and CSS Transitions interacting on the
same element and have that element's style out of date, which means it
wasn't necessary for the existing code to update only animation styles.
However, bug 960465 will use this similar mechanism as the new mechanism
for making sure transitions start in a reasonable way (replacing the
mechanism of phases, going from style without animation to style with
animation via nsPresContext::IsProcessingAnimationStyleChange). This
will require that, for SVG Animations to continue interacting correctly
with CSS Transitions, that they have their own cascade level so that
they can participate in RestyleManager::UpdateOnlyAnimationStyles.
Additionally, this is needed even sooner, for bug 977991, which needs
(temporarily, until bug 960465 lands) a mechanism for updating the style
attribute style *and* all animation-phase-dependent styles.
Yes, it's a little bit annoying to have to have another class, and
another object per-document for this, but that's currently what comes
with being a level of the cascade. But it's one class and one object
per document, and I believe there will be substantial benefits to having
all rule processor levels be only-animation-related or
not-animation-related (except for the style attribute level, which is
simple enough that it isn't needed yet).

This is fine since the assertion is just checking that we're not calling
RuleNodeWithReplacement in cases when stronger restyling (i.e.,
restyling that does more work) is needed; the new eRestyle_Force and
eRestyle_ForceDescendants flags control whether we restyle at all.
This probably should have been done in bug 931668 (since bug 996796
landed before bug 931668, although not before the patches were written),
but it doesn't actually show up in our test suite until bug 977991 (or
maybe slightly earlier in bug 1057231 or bug 1058346).

This patch fixes a regression from bug 1033114, m-c changeset 9db3e43c19c1.
That changeset changed the meaning of mHoldTime (despite the commit message
which erroneously refers to mStartTime) to make it an offset from the start time
rather than a timestamp. However, it failed to update the case when we have an
initially-paused player. In that case the offset should be zero but the existing
code set it to the same value as the start time (which is, itself, an offset
from the beginning of the timeline) and the above changeset failed to update
that.

- Implemented AsyncPanZoomController::PanZoomState::SMOOTH_MSD_SCROLL state
and AsyncPanZoomController::SmoothScrollAnimation class to animate smooth
scroll animations on the compositor thread.
- Extended FrameMetrics to report requests for smooth scrolls to be animated
on the compositor thread and their corresponding destination positions.
- AsyncPanZoomController now checks FrameMetrics for requests to perform
smooth scrolling on the compositor thread. It will ensure that they
are cancelled as needed by mousewheel, touchpanel, keyboard, and
CSSOM-View instant scrolling DOM methods.
- The layout/generic/test/test_scroll_behavior.html mochitest has been
commented as depending on Bug 1062609 before being enabled for APZ.

Normally a frame being destroyed would do this via PresShell::NotifyDestroyingFrame -> ImageLoader::DropRequestsForFrame but when we are tearing down the whole frame tree we skip per frame notifications like that for perf reasons. So we now make sure to do it when clearing out frames wholesale.
We also need to pass a prescontext pointer to ClearFrames because the ImageLoader only has a document pointer, and by that point in the presshell destruction sequence the presshell pointer on the document has been cleared.

- Verify that instant scroll-behavior is synchronous.
- Verify that smooth scroll-behavior is asynchronous.
- Verify that smooth scroll-behavior is triggered by CSSOM-View DOM methods.
- Verify that instant scroll-behavior interrupts smooth scroll-behavior
animation.
- Verify that smooth scroll-behavior is not framerate dependant.
- Verify that smooth scroll-behavior physics simulations used by animations
converge and allow the animation to reach completion.
- CSSOM-View scroll-behavior smooth scroll animations must produce the same
results indendently of frame-rate:
- Reference samples of scroll position for each frame are captured from a
smooth scroll at 120fps for variations in X-Distance, Y-Distance.
- Test samples are captured from an animation with the same parameters at
varying framerates.
- Variance in position at each sampled interval is compared to the 120fps
reference. To pass the test, the position of each test sample must match
the reference position with a tolerance of one test sample frame's range
of motion. This range of motion is calculated by the position delta of
the reference samples one test frame duration before and after.
- The duration of the reference sample animation and the test sample
animation must match within 1 frame to pass the test.
- The simulation driving the animation must converge and stop on the
destination position for the test to pass.

- Updated ScrollTo method in nsGlobalWindow to accept a
mozilla::dom::ScrollOptions parameter to select between the instant
and smooth MSD motion.
- Updated WebIDL binding boilerplate scrolling functions in nsGlobalWindow
to pass the correct value of mozilla::dom::ScrollBehavior to the
implementation and functions, activating smooth scrolling.
- These functions will need to be updated again to support the scroll-behavior
CSS property in Bug 1010538.

This is the actual fix for the bug. This changes the vertical sizing of
inline ::first-letter frames to work like inlines (and size based on
font metrics), so that the line-height calculation that happens later
will produces the same results as inlines would produce.
In the case we're concerned with of having a text frame child that's
0x0, this changes the inline ::first-letter from from being 0x0 to
having a height that is determined from the font metrics.

There's no need for these calls to be done in the inline ::first-letter
codepath.
In particular, nsLineLayout::ReflowFrame (called a few lines above)
calls SetRect and DidReflow, while nsLineLayout::RelativePositionFrames
(which is called at the end of inline reflow) calls
FinishAndStoreOverflow.

This patch makes no changes other than duplicating the code previously
after the if/else on both branches of the if/else.
The next two patches in this series will completely rewrite the half in

This matches patch 2, and also fixes an incorrect use of eRestyle_Self
on the parents of pseudo-elements in order to restyle those
pseudo-elements, where it would not previously have been effective.
This should all be temporary, since this code can go away with bug
960465, when animation phases are removed.

This (like patch 1) posts restyles directly to the pseudo-element
content nodes, which is a new thing as of this bug. Previously we'd
have posted eRestyle_Subtree restyles to the pseudo element's real
element (i.e., the parent of the pseudo-element content node).
This changes the way we post animation restyles for ::before and ::after
pseudo-elements with animations on them.

This (like patch 2) posts restyles directly to the pseudo-element
content nodes, which is a new thing.
This isn't needed right now since AddStyleUpdatesTo is currently only
used when updating main-thread-suppressed animations running on the
compositor. However, it will be needed once we depend on
AddStyleUpdatesTo for bug 960465. And it will have an effect now since
AddStyleUpdatesTo actually adds all animations rather than only the ones
that are suppressed from running on the main thread.

This patch stores the animation name on the Animation object rather than its
AnimationPlayer. This is because Animation objects don't have a reference to
their AnimationPlayer but their AnimationEffect needs access to the animation
name.
This patch also adds an accessor for AnimationPlayer to get the name from its
Animation (since players *do* have a reference to their source animation
content).
