patch.  All changes protected by  MOZ_STRIP_NOT_EXPORTED.
These particular changes set the NS_EXPORT declarations as needed by
the linker.

ramiro%netscape.com f41e67c622 Separate the widget and gfx toolkits into two variables. 
Instead of MOZ_TOOLKIT, we now have MOZ_WIDGET_TOOLKIT and MOZ_GFX_TOOLKIT.
There is also a new configure flag, --enable-gfx-toolkit which does what its
name implies.
The configure script should continue to work as before.

cyeh%netscape.com 13d037ce40 stupid fix for #7190. creating a plugins directory by default prevents 
code that goes searching for old 3.0 and 4.0 plugins and loading
those. this should help with start-up times.
