TSFTextStore::sEnabledTextStore is a static variable to grab a reference to focused TextStore instance. So, this may be changed by accidentally during a call of instance methods of TSFTextStore. Then, focused TextStore may be destroyed during running a method and crash when it accesses a member variable.
For avoiding this crash, static methods which call a method of sEnabledTextStore should create an independent RefPtr to it before calling the method.

GeckoThread.waitOnGecko blocks the current thread and waits for previous
events on the Gecko thread to finish executing before continuing. This
is implemented by synchronously running a dummy event on the Gecko
thread. This patch also lets us get rid of sendEventToGeckoSync in
GeckoAppShell.

When a plugin has focus, TextInputHandler shouldn't send native keydown event to interpretKeyEvents of NSView. However, it should dispatch keypress events because shortcut key handlers wait following keypress event.

When user types a Unicode character with Alt + Numpad keys, recevied messages are:
1. WM_SYSKEYDOWN for Alt (VK_MENU)
2. WM_SYSKEYDOWN and WM_SYSKEYUP of Numpad keys
3. WM_KEYUP for Alt (VK_MENU)
4. WM_CHAR for the Unicode character
The WM_CHAR indicates Alt key with its scancode. Then, we shouldn't set the key value of the keypress event as "Alt". Instead of that, we should set key value to the inputted Unicode character. Then, the keypress event won't be supprressed by WidgetKeyboardEvent::ShouldCauseKeypressEvents() in TextEventDispatcher (this is what the cause of bug 1253153 is.

mDefaultPreventedByChrome is hacky. When PresShell handles Escape key events in fullscreen mode, it prevents default of every Escape key events and dispatch it only into chrome. After that, it check mDefaultPreventedByChrome if at least one call of preventDefault() occurred in chrome. Therefore, if we shouldn't set both mDefaultPreventedByChrome and mDefaultPreventedByContent to true before dispatching an event. This the reason why we need a special method, PreventDefaultBeforeDispatch() is needed for setting only mDefaultPrevented to true.

As soon as the user clicks on a link to download a file Gecko will start the download - even before prompting the
user. This led to problems when the user hadn't granted the permission to write to the downloads directory yet. The
download would fail even though the user (later) accepted the permission.
With this patch we will start the download to the app's cache directory (only if we do not have the permission) and
prompt the user. As soon as the user has accepted the permission the download will be moved to the public downloads
directory (even while still downloading). If the permission is denied the download will be cancelled.
After the permission has been granted all subsequent downloads will start writing to the downloads directory
directly.

Improve the performance of JNI calls by making JNI calls require a
Context object. LocalRef inherits from Context and can make calls
directly. Non-local Ref classes will generate a Context object when
making a call. The patch also makes the template design cleaner in
several cases.

implementation supported "pseudo-prefs" that did not exist as actual
prefs, but was accessible through PrefsHelper. In order to accommodate

This requires renaming the existing nsIntRegion::RectIterator as
nsIntRegion::OldRectIterator to make way for the new nsIntRegion::RectIterator.
This doesn't require many knock-on changes because most existing uses of
that type use the nsIntRegionRectIterator typedef.
