normal 3 pane layout.  without a default, the splitter between the thread pane and the
message pane jumps when we switch folders, which looks bad and causes a repaint,

valeski%netscape.com 93959d48cc r=dbaron, sr=dougt. 97667. nsIInterfaceRequestor is now frozen. nsIInterfaceRequestorUtils.h is now required if you want to use do_GetInterface() for convenience.
