This moves parts of IPCMessageUtils.h to two new header files and adapts
the include directives as necessary. The new header files are:
- EnumSerializer.h, which defines the templates for enum serializers
- IPCMessageUtilsSpecializations.h, which defines template specializations
of ParamTraits with extra dependencies (building upon both IPCMessageUtils.h
and EnumSerializer.h)
This should minimize the dependencies pulled in by every consumer of
IPCMessageUtils.h

Currently, the gamepad code uses a uint32_t as a handle and does some trickery
with it by trying to create a unique ID and adding an offset to it for VR code.
This can (and has) led to errors where the developer forgets to perform the
arithmetic and sends the wrong number to the wrong manager.
This change created a strongly-typed handle that remembers which service it
belongs to. This should eliminate such accidents.

In most situations, JSONWriter users already know string lengths (either directly, or through `nsCString` and friends), so we should keep this information through JSONWriter and not recompute it again.
This also allows using JSONWriter with sub-strings (e.g., from a bigger buffer), without having to create null-terminated strings.

This patch uses IPDL's return feature to ensure that the memory
reporter manager won't wait for a report from a child process
that has already exited.
This fixes a memory reporter hang that can happen if a child process
exits during a memory report, when the parent half of the actor is
being held alive. (If the parent half of the actor is not being held
alive, then mMemoryReportRequest will be naturally cleared when it
goes away.)
This was happening frequently on Windows Fission AWSY because that test
does a minimize memory right before it attempts to get a memory report,
and the preallocated content process exits when it sees a message to
minimize memory.

The next patch converts the memory reporting architecture to use the "returns"
feature of IPDL, and mozilla::ipc::RejectCallback does not have a return
type, so this patch removes the return value.

Gecko Idle detection relies heavily on RefreshDriver. GC/CC scheduling, including when to run GC or CC slices, and the length of the slices, is mostly based on idle time. As WebXR isn't using normal RefreshDriver, the content process thinks it's idle and GC and CC get basically up to 50 ms slices.
Not having WebXR idle detection is causing stutter frames during immersive presentation. This patch implements idle deadline hint and sets the correct GC slices budgets during WebXR presentation.

Crash annotations in content processes are currently sent over IPC via
shared memory buffers. To pave the way for the Rust rewrite of the exception
handler we are removing this code and gathering all the crash annotations
within the content processes themselves. This patch causes annotations to be
stored in the global table of each content process. They are then streamed
out to the parent process by the exception handler together with the
exception-time annotations.
This has a number of benefits:
* we have one less channel to exchange data between content processes and
the parent process
* we save memory because we don't need to allocate the shared memory buffers
* annotations are faster because we don't stream them all out every time one
changes
* we won't truncate annotations anymore if we run out of space in the shared
segment.
* we don't need delayed annotations anymore, so we can get rid of the
associated machinery
As I refactored the code I tried to adjust all the obsolete comments,
consolidate shared code and remove the redundant steps that were sometimes
present. In many places we had two entire crash annotation tables we merged to
change just a couple; that comes from the fact that historically we loaded
them from disk. Now it doesn't matter anymore and we can just go ahead and
change the ones we care about.

TabGroup never really made any difference in which thread something go
dispatched to. This was the intended use, but development of TabGroups
with abstract main threads never made it that far. The good thing is
that thish makes it safe to also remove to the SystemGroup and instead
switch all SystemGroup dispatches to dispatches to main thread.
Timers for setTimeout and workers were the sole users of wrapped and
throttled event targets, that those throttled queues have been moved
to the BrowsingContextGroup and are now accessed explicitly.
The SchedulerEventTarget has been removed, since there are no longer a
separate event target for every TaskCategory. Instead a
LabellingEventTarget has been added to DocGroup to handle the case
where an event is dispatched do DocGroup or when an AbstractThread is
created using a DocGroup. This means that we'll actually label more
events correctly with the DocGroup that they belong to.
DocGroups have also been moved to BrowsingContextGroup.

Splits WebGLContext into ClientWebGLContext and HostWebGLContext. This patch suppresses VR device access permission prompts for users that do not have any VR runtimes installed.
We could not depend on the existing VR device enumeration functions to suppress the permission prompts, as the
act of enumerating VR devices will result in some hardware physically powering on and software starting up (and staying running)
in the background.
This patch includes logic to spawn the VR process with an additional flag indicating that it should attempt only to detect the
runtimes, without proceeding to enumerate and activate hardware and software.
VRManager now includes an enum to more clearly organize it's state machine model, which now must ensure that the runtime detection
happens on-demand when the VR session support capabilities are first determined.
There is a new pref to disable the suppression of permission prompts for use within permission UI tests on machines without VR runtimes.
Renamed some variables and added comments to make code in nsGlobalWindowInner and Navigator clearer and better represent the updated logic -- to allow the separate detection of VR runtimes and VR session activation. Both the runtime detection and VR
session activity uses VREventObserver to send events to nsGlobalWindowInner.

This is a dependency of the WebXR implementation.
In order to support WebXR's navigator.xr.IsSessionSupported call without
displaying any permission dialogue, it is necessary to have a safe way to
detect the capability of running a VR or AR session without activating XR
runtimes or powering on hardware.
API's such as OpenVR make no guarantee that hardware and software won't be
left activated after enumerating devices, so each backend in gfx/vr/service
must allow for more granular detection of capabilities.
By passing true to bDetectRuntimesOnly, the initialization exits early
after reporting the presence of XR runtime software. The Initialize method
will only enumerate hardware and possibly return true when
aDetectRuntimesOnly is false.

This change allows for background scripts from WebExtensions to run in the FxR on PC chrome window. In this scenario, the promise ExtensionParent.browserStartupPromise is never fulfilled because it depends on the notification sessionstore-windows-restored, which doesn't occur because the FxR window does not participate in SessionStore.
To address this issue, browserStartupPromise is now a race between the original notification and a new one, extensions-late-startup, which is fired from fxrui.js.

This change addresses two issues with vrhost sending WM_MOUSEWHEEL events:
- The point from the message had an incorrect coordinate origin. Documentation specifices that it should be screen, rather than window/client, origin. Since vrhost only knows about a position in the window, it translates the point before sending the message.
- Gecko ignores the point passed in to the window message and instead uses the point from GetMessagePos. As warnings indicate, this can be incorrect, as is exposed with vrhost. This change now uses this point from the message when available.

When JS is paused, VRService will automatically shutdown because the timer is not updated,
we used to create a new VRDisplay to JS. However, the page is still using the older VRDisplay,
so it can't get the newest VRDisplayInfo status. We should exit presentation and
apply the VRDisplayInfo status to the original VRDisplay instead of creating new one.

Bug 1587521 - Enable FullScreen in FxR for Desktop
This change enables Fullscreen functionality in the UI for Firefox Reality for Desktop. On Fullscreen, the window (rather than the desktop) is taken over, and it is up to the host to render the contents as fullscreen.
To mitigate the impact on Desktop's implementation, browser-fullScreenAndPointerLock.js is forked and removes the dependencies on browser.js. These two files will be rationalized at a later time.

Notify VRActiveStatus after a the VREventObserver is created to prevent the VRManagerParent::GetVRActiveStatus race condition.
Call VRManager::Shutdown() when the app goes to background instead of calling it in the foreground event due to the inactivity timer.

This change is a continuation of Part 1 (Bug 1570128), where the 2D content rendered by Firefox for Firefox Reality on Desktop is marshalled through VRHost so that it can be presented in a VR environment.
A new class, FxrOutputHandler, is created to manage creating a sharable texture, sharing it through VRShMem, and updating it when content updates. This class updates content with both WebRender and conventional rendering output.
This initial iteration of FxrOutputHandler does not have synchronization between reading and writing this shared texture across processes. A subsequent fix (Bug 1581881) is pending, which will reuse WebVR code to manage writing to and reading from a pool of textures.
This also presents issues with rendering protected media, so an additional class, FxrWindowManager, is created to manage all windows created for Firefox Reality on Desktop so that it can inform whether or not protected media can be presented.
The automated manual tests in vrhosttest.cpp now show the real shared texture handle rather than a fake value, which shows that marshaling succeeded.

This changes the way crash reports for child processes happening too early
during the child process' startup. Before bug 1547698 we wrote a partial
.extra file with those crashes that lacked the process type. The user would
not be notified of those crashes until she restarted Firefox and even when
submitted those crashes would be erroneously labeled as browser crashes.
After bug 1547698 we stopped writing .extra files entirely for those crashes
which left orphaned .dmp files among the pending crash reports.
This patch does three things to improve the situation:
* It writes a partial .extra file so that the crashes are detected at the next
startup. So the user is still not notified directly of these crashes but she
can report them later.
* It adds the process type to the .extra file so that the crash reporters are
labelled correctly.
* It fixes a leak in the `pidToMinidump` hash-map. Since the crashes were
not finalized the `ChildProcessData` strucutre associated with them would
never be fred.
