With the patches of bug 1815229, these errors appear:

browser/base/content/test/performance/browser_startup_images.js | Loaded image resource://gre-resources/loading-image.png should have been shown

It's a real issue, where we eagerly load the broken image icon and so on
even though we don't use them.

This fixes it by lazily-loading the icon once, only when needed.

This patch doesn't impact behavior.

The pref "gfx.font_loader.interval" used to control certain aspects of
font-loading behavior, but that code has evolved and we no longer read the
value of this pref anywhere.

Andrew McCreight 8f54548bda Bug 1769791, part 2 - Add allowXULXBL for file URIs for reftests even if not http. r=jmaher 
This ensures we have the permission to load XUL files from file URIs when we are
not using HTTP, which we seem to need for remote reftests, like Android.

This also removes the setting of dom.allow_XUL_XBL_for_file in the reftest pref
file, which doesn't seem to be enough to make Android remote reftests work for
some reason, so I don't think it is doing anything.

Jeff Muizelaar 3847a14838 Bug 1774849 - Always use sync decoding during reftests. r=aosmond 
nsImageGeometryMixin is used to redraw images with sync decoding.  Without it,
if we paint an image with non-sync decoding, we won't know that it will be
drawn differently with sync decoding and so don't have a mechanism to include
it in the invalid region.

Currently the main situation where we draw images with non-sync decoding and
then with sync decoding is during reftests. If we unconditionally use sync
decoding during reftests we don't have to worry about the situation where we
switch. This will let us resolve the problems associated with nsImageGeometryMixin.
