PBrowser::RequestNativeKeyBindings() is used only when somebody tries to
execute native key bindings for synthesized keyboard events. Therefore, it
doesn't need to retrieve edit commands for all editor types. Instead, it
should take the editor type and just return the edit commands for it.

Now, nsIWidget::ExecuteNativeKeyBinding() isn't used by anybody for executing
edit commands. Instead, they need array of edit commands for the key
combination. So, the method should be renamed to GetEditCommands() and just
return edit commands as an array.

Bug 1339543 part 2 eKeyPress event should have edit commands for all editor types when it's dispatched to a remote process r=smaug

When eKeyPress event is dispatched from TabParent to a remote process, it
should store edit command for all editor types. Then, copied
WidgetKeyboardEvent in the remote process doesn't need to request the edit
commands when its ExecuteEditCommands() is called.
Note that this patch also changes a automated test, browser_bug1316330.js,
that uses nsIDOMWindowUtils.dispatchDOMEventViaPresShell() to dispatch
repeated keyboard events in the tab. However, it should use synthesizeKey()
to emulate everything of native keyboard events and the API can dispatch
repeated keyboard events too. (And the test has a bug. It tries to wait 0.5
sec when every keydown or keypress event. However, it fails since startTime
is never initialized. This patch fixes this bug too.)

return a TextureFactoryIdentifier. This is quite reliably available
already in the case of opening a tab, due to RenderFrameParent knowing
which compositor it is attached to, so we can make the constructor
asynchronous.
In the top-level widget case, we add a new synchronous message to find
the TextureFactoryIdentifier.

2) Prevents crashes where Firefox calls into GTK.

screen size with the environment variables MOZ_HEADLESS_WIDTH and
MOZ_HEADLESS_HEIGHT.
4) Supports simulating moving a headless window.
5) Adds a stubbed out nsSound implementation.
6) Supports simulating size mode changes of headless windows.
7) Adds the --headless flag for Firefox.

This will return true if any of the frames loaded in the associated
TabChild have set at least one onbeforeunload event handler. If those
handlers are all removed, or all of the documents with onbeforeunload
event handlers are unloaded, this becomes false again.
Note that subframes that are sandboxed without the allow-modals
permission will not affect the hasBeforeUnload attribute, since
those iframes should never cause the beforeunload confirmation
dialog to display.

Bug 1350638 - Remove sync GetCompositorOptions call in TabChild::InitRenderingState. r=dvander

The goal of this patch is to remove the call to the sync IPC
GetCompositorOptions message from TabChild::InitRenderingState. In order
to this, we have InitRenderingState take the CompositorOptions as an
argument instead, and propagate that backwards through the call sites.
Eventually we can propagate it back to a set of already-sync IPC
messages in PCompositorBridge that are used during layers id
registration (NotifyChildCreated, NotifyChildRecreated, etc.). Therefore
this patch effectively piggybacks the CompositorOptions sync IPC onto
these pre-existing sync IPC messages.
The one exception is when we propagate it back to the AdoptChild call.
If this message were sync we could just use it like the others and have
it return a CompositorOptions. However, it is async, so instead we add
another call to GetCompositorOptions here temporarily. This will be
removed in the next patch.

There are scenarios where we have a TabParent in the UI process hooked up to
a PuppetWidget with a BasicLayerManager. Webextensions fall into this category.
In this scenario, the parent-side layer manager is not hooked up to
the compositor (that is, there is no entry in the CompositorBridge layer tree
state map for the layers id). However, the content-side still ends up creating
a ClientLayerManager or a WebRenderLayerManager, which expects the layers id to
be registered in the compositor. This results in brokenness (in the case of the
ClientLayerManager/PLayerTransaction) or crashes (in the case of WebRenderLayerManager/
PWebRenderBridge). Instead, this patch changes this scenario to have the content
process use a BasicLayerManager which seems safer.

Bug 1351384 - Stop using the CompositorOptions to check if WebRender is enabled. r=dvander

I suspect that the PuppetWidget is trying to create the layer manager after
it has been connected to a TabChild but before the TabChild has populated the
CompositorOptions. This results in the PuppetWidget effectively getting an
uninitialized value for the CompositorOptions, and so it sometimes randomly
creates a WebRenderLayerManager, later resulting in a crash.
It seems like exposing the potentially-uninitialized CompositorOptions from
TabChild like this is a bad idea, so I'm removing that API and using the more
reliable gfxVars in PuppetWidget. This is fine for WebRender purposes because
we no longer care to allow having WR compositors co-exist with non-WR
compositors.
We may eventually want to remove the CompositorOptions entirely, but for now
the rest of the usage of it seems fine.

Bug 1331988 - Don't provide DPI and related values until the TabChild has received the the ShowInfo, to avoid doing sync IPC. r=dvander
...
In bug 1331509, mRemoteFrame started getting populated earlier, while the DPI
and default scale values remained unpopulated until RecvShow was called. This
opened a small window where calling TabChild::GetDPI (and GetDefaultScale) would
result in a sync IPC message where previously it would just return -1. This
restores the original behaviour and elimintes the perf regression from the
sync IPC.

Also guard against a scenario where RecvDocShellIsActive gets called before
we have the layers id for the tab. Because we need to have the compositor
options (which requires knowing the layers id) before we can create the layer
manager, we need to avoid calling GetLayerManager() before we have the options.

In non-e10s, all tabs of a window would share one nsRootPresContext. When
switching tabs, the tab switch paint would trigger a call to
nsRootPresContext::ComputePluginGeometryUpdates, which would call
SetEmptyWidgetConfiguration on all registered nsPluginFrames, notably also
those inside the tab that was hidden.
With e10s, every tab has its own nsRootPresContext, and paints in one tab do
not trigger calls to nsRootPresContext::ComputePluginGeometryUpdates on the
root pres contexts of other tabs. So when painting the new tab, the registered
plugin frames in the old tab were not notified that they were now hidden.
This patch now does that in TabChild::MakeHidden.

layerizes the scroll frame, the StartAsyncScrollbarDrag message needs to

This patch removes support for mozapp iframes, leaving support for
mozbrowser iframes intact. Some of the code has been rewritten in order
to phrase things in terms of mozbrowser only, as opposed to mozbrowser
or app. In some places, code that was only useful with apps has been
completely removed, so that the APIs consumed can also be removed. In
some places where the notion of appId was bleeding out of this API, now
we use NO_APP_ID. Other notions of appId which were restricted to this
API have been removed.

Bug 1318506 - Assign a TabGroup to every PBrowser (r=mystor,ehsan)

Every new PBrowser, whether it's created by the parent or the child, needs
to get a TabGroup assigned to it. That way IPC messages for the PBrowser will
be dispatched to that TabGroup.
For new PBrowsers created by the child, we just create a new TabGroup or reuse
the opener's TabGroup.
For PBrowsers created by the parent, the child needs to intercept the
PBrowserConstructor message and assign a TabGroup immediately. PBrowsers created
by the parent never have an opener so we can always create a new TabGroup.
In both cases, the nsGlobalWindow::TabGroupOuter logic needs to be updated to
read the TabGroup out of the IPC code. Otherwise the DOM and IPC code will get
out of sync about TabGroups.

We now call NotifyAsyncPanZoomStarted/Stopped precisely on the document
which is being transformed, so we no longer need to notify the child
docshells which was added in Bug 1088559.
Remove the |nsIDocument| argument for ProcessAPZStateChange(), which is not
used anymore.
mActiveAPZTransforms added in bug 1142926 is removed because AccessibleCaret
is the only consumer for AsyncPanZoomStarted/Stopped, and it now defaults to
always show while scrolling, i.e.
"layout.accessiblecaret.always_show_when_scrolling" defaults to true. And I
cannot reproduce the bug even if I turn off the preference.

This patch prevents the Windows widget code from dispatching the contextmenu
event if APZ is handling touch input. Instead, the APZ code processes the
raw touch input, and will fire a contextmenu event when the user lifts their
finger after a long-press action, in keeping with the Windows platform
convention. Doing it this way also allows us to respect web conventions where
the web content can prevent the contextmenu event from firing by calling
preventDefault on the touchstart event; this was not possible when dispatching
the contextmenu event directly from the widget code.
This also makes long-pressing on browser chrome components work properly, as
it just shifts the point in time that the contextmenu event is fired without
changing any of the code that triggers the XUL popup. However, some changes
were needed to have the widget code ignore the synthetic mouse events that
the Windows platform sends us, because those would otherwise immediately
dismiss the contextmenu popup after it appeared.

They don't need to be NS_IMETHOD, but they should be MOZ_MUST_USE. Adding the
latter catches a few missing checks, which the patch adds.
The patch also gives PuppetWidget an InfallibleCreate() function, which makes
the infallibility of PuppetWidget creation clear.

Bug 1250024 - Fix touch-tap event coordinate transformations when a fullzoom is applied. r=botond

There were a couple of problems when delivering tap gestures to content with
full zoom applied. One was that the ConverToGecko function converted the coords
into "CSS pixel" space by using the web content's CSS-to-LD scale, but also
applied that on the translation from the chrome area. Moving that conversion
to later in the process (after the coords got passed through TabParent::
AdjustTapToChildWidget) corrected that issue.
The other problem was that bits of code in APZEventState and APZCCallbackHelper
were using the widget->GetDefaultScale() value as the CSS-to-LD scale, but that
omitted the full zoom value. Getting the CSS-to-LD scale from the presShell and
propagating that through corrected that issue.

For B2G we had this "special" behaviour where a long-press that didn't trigger
a contextmenu or whose contextmenu event was cancelled would still trigger a
click event. No other browser does this, and so I think it doesn't make sense
for us to keep doing it either. It also makes it much harder to implement the
Windows-style contextmenu, where the contextmenu pops up when you *lift* your
finger after doing a long-press.

This patch also cleans up some inconsistencies in the conditions under which the
main thread would respond to wheel and mouse events. With this patch applied, the
main-thread notifications are only sent if the input block id is nonzero, which
indicates the APZ actually processed the input event and added it to an input
block.

When PluginInstanceChild receives native key events, it should post the events to the chrome process first for checking if the key combination is reserved. However, posting all key events to the chrome process may make damage to the performance of text input. Therefore, this patch starts to post a key event whose key combination may be a shortcut key. However, for avoiding to shuffle the event order, it posts following key events until all posted key events are handled by the chrome process.
For receiving response from widget, this patch defines nsIKeyEventInPluginCallback. It's specified by nsIWidget::OnWindowedPluginKeyEvent() for ensuring the caller will receive the reply. Basically, the caller of nsIWidget::OnWindowedPluginKeyEvent() should reply to the child process. However, if the widget is a PuppetWidget, it cannot return the result synchronously. Therefore, PuppetWidget::OnWindowedPluginKeyEvent() returns NS_SUCCESS_EVENT_HANDLED_ASYNCHRONOUSLY and stores the callback to mKeyEventInPluginCallbacks. Then, TabParent::HandledWindowedPluginKeyEvent() will call PuppetWidget::HandledWindowedPluginKeyEvent().

disableglobalhistory is an attribute that we support on <xul:browser> that
can be used to signal to the underlying DocShell whether or not it should
record visits in global history.
This patch adds support for this attribute by detecting it at the time
that the TabParent is bound to the browser, and then sending the presence
of the attribute to the TabChild, which then sets the state in its DocShell.

Bug 1229220 - Update the scrollbar visibility prefs when initializing a TabChild; r=smaug

This will make sure that window.scrollbars correctly reflects the respective
chrome flags in e10s mode.
We also update nsXULWindow::SetContentScrollbarVisibility() to the new
nsContentUtils helper. That code is responsible for doing this work in the
single process case.
