Jean-Yves Avenard afea3c617d Bug 1634846 - P3. Get around NS_INLINE_DECL_REFCOUNTING not working with TaskQueue. r=nika,froydnj
NS_INLINE_DECL_REFCOUNTING macro doesn't properly work when the object is used on a thread that isn't backed by a single PRThread (such as TaskQueue). See bug 1648031.

The resolution of this issue is rather complex, and outside the scope of this series of change.

So for now, we create a new macro NS_INLINE_DECL_REFCOUNTING_ONEVENTTHREAD which will use a different mechanism to ensure the thread-safe usage of a class.

Masayuki Nakano cf058a67c2 Bug 1615131 - Make `StaticRange` instances reused as far as possible like `nsRange` r=smaug
When we support `InputEvent.getTargetRanges()`, editor needs to create
`StaticRange` instances at starting to handle every edit operations/commands.
Therefore, we need a hack for saving allocation cost like `nsRange`.

This patch moves `nsRange::MaybeCacheToReuse()` and `nsRange::Shutdown()` to
`AbstractRange` to reduce copy&paste same code into `nsRange` and `StaticRange`.
However, `Create(nsINode*)` and `Release()` are duplicated unfortunately.

Splits WebGLContext into ClientWebGLContext and HostWebGLContext. Nika Layzell dbec7d4975 Bug 1526382 - Part 2: Make nsIClassInfo use Array<nsIIDRef> for 'interfaces', r=mccr8
This is a follow-up to the previous part, which actually changes one of
these callers to use Array<nsIIDRef> instead of [array] nsIIDPtr.

From doing this patch, it seems like we should consider changing
the type `nsIIDRef` to instead simply be `nsIID`, and treat it more like
the `AString` types from the POV of XPIDL. `nsIIDPtr` would then
continue to exist for backwards compatibility, but we can probably
remove almost all current consumers over time.

TSan doesn't support std::atomic_thread_fence, so in order to avoid noisy

Kris Maglione 8340513b0c Bug 1463287: Add QueryInterface helper macro for concrete class types. r=bz
Using concrete class types with static IIDs in QueryInterface methods is a
pretty common pattern which isn't supported by any existing helper macros.
That's lead to separate ad-hoc implementations, with varying degrees of
dodginess, being scattered around the tree.

This patch adds a helper macro with a canonical (and safe) implementation, and
updates existing ad-hoc users to use it.

Andrew McCreight 4e452aadbf Bug 1410209, part 3 - Use Runnable::mName for the class name with XPCOM leak checking. r=smaug
Most subclasses of Runnable don't bother to override AddRef and
Release, so XPCOM leak checking ends up reporting Runnable, which
makes it impossible to know what is actually leaking.

Each subclass of Runnable is already required to pass in the name of
the class, which is stored in the field mName. This patch changes
Runnable to use mName as the class name for XPCOM leak checking, thus
giving each subclass a specific name without needing to change the
hundreds of existing subclasses of Runnable.

The limitation of this approach is the classes that DO use
NS_IMPL_ADDREF/RELEASE_INHERITED end up using the same class name that
is used by the superclass AddRef/Release, but with a different size,
which causes assertions in the leak checker. To work around this, I
change NS_IMPL_ADDREF/RELEASE_INHERITED to not call into
NS_LOG_ADDREF/RELEASE for classes that are a subclass of
Runnable. This needs to use IsConvertible<> and not IsBaseOf<> because
the latter requires the classes involved to be defined, and headers
can use nsISupportsImpl.h without nsThreadUtils.h.
