Browser based listeners can now registers themselves using the AddGroupedEventListener and passing the system event group (which can be gotten via the nsIDOMEventReceiver interface). These listeners will now fire after all content based listeners have processed.
In this initial version of the checkin most browser listeners are still left in the original content group for stability purposes.

The restoration of these values into the new frame model is done as part of the initial reflow. The two were split because the stuff that is now in nsIInterfaceRequestorUtils.h wasn't ready for freezing. Also, .idl files should just contain interface defs anyway.

Fixing bug 81115 that causes the identity of event receivers and event targets to be incorrect in the case where the target/reveiver is an nsGenericElement or a nsGenericDOMDataNode. The problem was the those classes use the event listener manager as a tearoff but QI'ing that tearoff to nsISupports returns the event listener manager and not the element/node, this causes XPConnect to create different wrappers for the same element/node when the event listener tearoff is wrapped in stead of directly wrapping the element/node. This causes problems with event.target in JS, among other things. The solution for this problem was to create a separate tearoff that works correctly and leave the event listener manager alone since it can not be used as a tearoff in all cases. r=pollmann@netscape.com, sr=vidur@netscape.com

Re-checking-in my fix for 47905, which was backed out last night because of a bug in some other code that was checked in along with it. This checkin was not causing the crasher and is unchanged. See earlier checkin comment - in short, this adds same-origin to XMLHttpRequest and cleans up some function calls in caps, removes some unnecessary parameters. r=vidur, sr=jst.

fix for 78514, r=pink, sr=hyatt. Windows only temporary (until focus gets totally overhauled) hack to support embedding applications better. This causes our app to relinquish focus to native chrome in the embeddor's app. To do this, we check if the window that is about to get focus is a mozilla window. If not, we obey wm_killfocus like a normal app, and don't wait for the following focus to send the blur event.

Bug 79775 - Forward button broken in main mail window. Making
WindowWatcher not call GetSubjectPrincipal if the URL to be loaded is
chrome, since the calling principal is superfluous in this case.
No one has been able to find the root cause of this problem, but
this checkin works around it, which is the best we can do for now.

Fixed bug 52526, the cause was that image load event was bubbling even though the specs say it should not. Previously we were not even sending the load event on image load. I also fixed bug 50478 by fixing the logic in GetBubbles and GetCancelable of the DOMEvent. This helps in testing the first bug. I also fixed several cases where we had wrong combination of event class and event struct type. a=waterson, r=joki,rods.

fix for case where when a frame is deleted as a result of a drag (say, moving a bookmark or mail message) we don't try to access the frame after it has been deleted but use |mCurrentTarget| which we know will be up to date and safe. Fix for bugs 20485 and 24600. We no longer flush immediately in the content sink when we hit a script element. Instead the sink is a document observer and listens for BeginUpdate/EndUpdate notifications when evaluating a script and flushes only if necessary. Added BeginUpdate/EndUpdate notifications to nsIDocument and layout content (note that it's still necessary for XUL content). r=nisheeth,pollmann

function - this will be helpful for implementing page up/down scrolling

- Add "aShared" flag to nsIScriptContext::CompileEventHandler, telling it to clear the compiled event handler's scope chain if true, in order to
(a) avoid entraining garbage
(i.e., a shared compile-time-only parent object); and
(b) cause later BindCompiledEventHandler calls to ensure that the event handler has the particular scope chain needed for the binding
(to the target object that's receiving the event).
- Use :: consistently (and all over the place) before calls to JS_ functions in nsJSEnvironment.cpp.
- Eliminate tabs and barbarians-at-the-gate-of-Rome style, in favor of when-in-Rome style (hail Waterson Maximus!)

Implementing the mousewheel preferences. A new option has been added, "Use system default", which follows the OS

default (on Windows at least) for the number of lines to scroll. I also changes the default actions for the modifier
keys slightly.

- Rename "FunctionObject" or shorthands to "EventHandler" to make nsIScriptContext more scripting-language-neutral.

- Allow nsIScriptContext::BindEventHandler to take a null void* handler argument, to remove the binding by nullifying it (for hyatt's XML-driven-key-mapping work).
- Try to GetCompiledEventHandler (and if we don't, and compile it, Put too) for the load event and other non-deferred (XUL window-level) event listeners.
- Improve doc comments and whitespace.

Made some modifications to nsEventStateManager::PreHandleEvent().
We now prevent setting of gLastFocusedContent when handling
NS_ACTIVATE. We now allow DOM focus notifications even when
we can't send a blur notification in NS_GOTFOCUS.
