Boris Zbarsky 0d2e9ff1f1 Bug 1214364 part 3. Only output ToObjectInternal methods for dictionaries that need it. r=peterv
This saves about 270KB of codesize on Linux64 without LTO, or 20KB with LTO.

The basic idea is that we can flag dictionaries that need to-JS conversion
(hence ToObjectInternal) based on various IDL uses (return value in normal
interface, argument in callback, etc) and then annotate the ones that are
converted to JS manually in C++ code.

The mozwebidlcodegen changes are needed because non-local changes (e.g. whether
a dictionary is used as a return value somewhere) can now affect the code
generation for a dictionary and hence whether the relevant binding file should
be regenerated. Since these changes can happen in any .webidl file, we need to
check for them. We can't track this via the dependency set on the dictionary
itself, because that would not notice new uses being added.

Boris Zbarsky e5497b955e Bug 1423562 part 3. Remove [PrimaryGlobal] and require explicit [Exposed] annotations on everything. r=edgar
For review purposes, the important changes are in dom/bindings/Configuration.py
and dom/bindings/parser.

The changes to the IDL files were done by running these in dom/webidl
and dom/bindings/test:

  perl -pi -e 's/^interface ([A-Za-z0-9_]+)($| [:{])/[Exposed=Window]\ninterface \1\2/' *.webidl

  perl -pi -e 'BEGIN { $/ = undef; } s/\[HTMLConstructor\]\n\[Exposed=Window\]/[HTMLConstructor,\n Exposed=Window]/g' *.webidl

  perl -pi -e 'BEGIN { $/ = undef; } s/\[NoInterfaceObject\]\n\[Exposed=Window\]/[NoInterfaceObject,\n Exposed=Window]/g' *.webidl

  perl -pi -e 'BEGIN { $/ = undef; } s/\[ChromeOnly\]\n\[Exposed=Window\]/[ChromeOnly,\n Exposed=Window]/g' *.webidl

And running this in dom/chrome-webidl:

  perl -pi -e 'BEGIN { $/ = undef; } s/\[ChromeOnly\]\ninterface/[ChromeOnly, Exposed=Window]\ninterface/g' *.webidl

and then fixing all the resulting parser failures. I then verified that the
generated code is the same as before this change.

Kartikaya Gupta 81d35ea432 Bug 1561698 - Check the layers id in hit-testing mochitests as well. r=botond, hsivonen
This exposes the layers id on the APZ hit result testing API, and
updates callers to check the layers id is correct. This is mostly
unnecessary for these tests, but introduces machinery that will be
useful in Fission-enabled tests, where iframes may be OOP and have
different layers ids.

Kartikaya Gupta 937b89a55a Bug 1542019 - Split the dispatch-to-content flag into three. r=botond, hsivonen
This patch extracts two additional CompositorHitTestInfo flags from the
eDispatchToContent flag; eApzAwareListeners for elements that have
APZ-aware listeners, and eInactiveScrollframe for inactive scrollframe
or unlayerized scrollthumbs. The eDispatchToContent is then renamed to
eIrregularArea to reflect the fact that it is used for irregular-shaped
areas that require main-thread hit-testing.

Additionally, it is important to note that when using the non-WebRender
codepath, all three of these flags still end up gettings squashed into
the "dispatch to content" region on the EventRegions; when APZ
reconstructs a CompositorHitTestInfo it will turn anything in this
region back into an eIrregularArea. So this is a lossy round-trip
conversion for the non-WebRender case. However it should still result in
correct behaviour because the semantics of eIrregularArea result in APZ
relying on the main-thread to do hit-testing and so any APZ-aware
listeners and inactive scrollframes are also handled by the main-thread.

Kartikaya Gupta 9154159eef Bug 1419834 - Add hit-testing results for MozMouseHittest events to APZTestData. r=botond, mrbkap
This allows us to fire MozMouseHittest events from tests and then read
the hittest result from the compositor APZTestData. The MozMouseHittest
event was chosen in particular because the existing uses of it are
similar in nature - it is a dummy event that is used to determine what
elements a particular coordinate targets. It is also an event that is
never generated by the OS and so using this event gives us more control
over what ends up in the APZTestData.
