Mike Shal b1dbf109ed Bug 1606922 - Move MOZ_AUTOMATION_PACKAGE_TESTS from mozconfigs to taskcluster; r=tomprince, chmanchester
We don't need to package tests for builds that we don't actually run
tests from, but it is tricky to align this correctly by setting
MOZ_AUTOMATION_PACKAGE_TESTS=0 in relevant mozconfigs. Instead we can
set the environment variable in the task definition, and use a full
taskgraph verification check to ensure that the flag is only set on
builds that have tests.

The one tricky area is the win64-aarch64 builds, which have a workaround
by specifying the new skip-verify-test-packaging attribute.

In one case, win64-aarch64-shippable has tests that run against it, but
it copies those tests from a win64-aarch64-shippable-no-eme task, which
itself has no tests. Both of those tasks need to skip the verify check
as a result.

In another case, the win64-aarch64-eme task is an artifact build that
grabs test packages from the win64-aarch64 build. Since the win64-aarch64
build doesn't have tests, it needs to skip the verify check.

The one tricky task is win64-aarch64-shippable/opt, which copies tests
from another build rather than building them itself. For this reason, it
explicitly sets MOZ_AUTOMATION_PACKAGE_TESTS: '0' in the environment
even though that is now the default. This is why the exception is only
raised if MOZ_AUTOMATION_PACKAGE_TESTS is not set at all, rather than
checking that it is set to 1.

Mike Hommey 76b948abd2 Bug 1575471 - Move `make check` from mozharness to moz-automation.mk. r=froydnj
Currently, we have no real visibility on the time spent after the build
finished, despite the fact that a large chunk is actually happening via
make check (although thankfully more and more of it is moving out to
separate tasks).

Also, the mozharness machinery for make check dates from when we were
running in buildbot and takes care of turning builds orange instead of
red in case of failure, etc. which doesn't do anything useful anymore.

We need to sign parts of the contents of the archives, so the mar's that we
ship get built as part of the repackage task. Thus, there is no reason to also

Ted Mielczarek 8b7140ce04 bug 1424323 - remove MOZ_AUTOMATION_UPLOAD_SYMBOLS from in-tree mozconfigs. r=rillian
With all of our builds in Taskcluster now, we should never be uploading
symbols from build tasks. Unfortunately Windows builds were still doing so.
This patch removes MOZ_AUTOMATION_UPLOAD_SYMBOLS from all the in-tree
mozconfigs and a few other places so that it should always default off
(per moz-automation.mk). The rest of the uploadsymbols bits will be
removed once Thunderbird fixes their automation.

This patch was mostly autogenerated by running:
rg --files-with-matches UPLOAD_SYMBOLS browser/config/mozconfigs/ mobile/android/config/mozconfigs/ | xargs sed -ri '/.*UPLOAD_SYMBOLS.*/d'
sed -ri '/.*UPLOAD_SYMBOLS.*/d' build/unix/mozconfig.linux build/mozconfig.win-common build/macosx/local-mozconfig.common build/mozconfig.automation

Then mobile/android/config/mozconfigs/common and
taskcluster/scripts/builder/build-linux.sh were hand-edited.

Ted Mielczarek 8715819616 bug 1259832 - package generated sources and upload them along with other build artifacts. r=gps
This change makes us upload an `$(PKG_BASENAME).generated-files.tar.gz` archive
alongside other build artifacts which contains all the generated source files
from the build. A change after this will introduce an `upload-generated-sources`
task to take this artifact and upload the individual files to an S3 bucket.

This will be used to provide links to generated source files when they appear
in stack traces in crash reports.

Mike Hommey 6b392d8d0c Bug 1324998 - Error out when a in-tree mozconfig is included. r=gps
Many people have been shooting themselves in the foot for too long by
including in-tree mozconfigs.

This change adds a guard that makes it an error when this happens on
builds not running on automation.

Analysis of the in-tree mozconfigs indicate that
build/mozconfig.automation is properly included by the in-tree
mozconfig that matter, directly or indirectly.

The only ones that don't include it are:
  b2g/config/mozconfigs/common.override
  b2g/graphene/config/mozconfigs/common.override
  browser/config/mozconfigs/linux64/source
  browser/config/mozconfigs/win64/common-win64
  build/mozconfig.cache
  build/mozconfig.clang-cl
  build/mozconfig.common.override
  build/mozconfig.rust
  build/mozconfig.vs-common
  build/mozconfig.win-common
  build/unix/mozconfig.gtk
  build/unix/mozconfig.stdcxx
  build/win32/mozconfig.vs-latest
  build/win32/mozconfig.vs2015-win64
  build/win64/mozconfig.vs-latest
  build/win64/mozconfig.vs2015
  mobile/android/config/mozconfigs/common.override

which are either empty for use in try builds (override files), or would
already cause great pain if they were directly included, so there's
little chance they would be.

'make check' is somewhat special in that we want to trigger testers
before it finishes. Since moving sendchange into mach is difficult and
'make check' may be going away in the future anyway, just pull it out
for now.

Also remove the MOZ_AUTOMATION_*_SENDCHANGE flags since we aren't using
