slamm%netscape.com 22a74f8213 Check dependencies on every pass. This is less than ideal because it causes gmake to fire twice for each Makefile, but it does work with -jN builds. properly set all the ac magic needed to properly asm files.
Currently this is only an issue on Solaris, when building with the native
sun compiler.

code generator can be clobber.  Otherwise, dependancies and clobbering dont
