bryner%brianryner.com e18751266d Fix unnecessary rebuilds in embedding/browser/activex caused by mkdepend creating a bogus dependency on dist/include/string when #include <string> is used. Re-apply NO_X11 patch.
Apply patch to let it use gcc's include dir if built with gcc.

cyeh%netscape.com e9d3c67427 Removing static makefiles as a part of the transition to Autoconf. I have taken great 
care to only remove makefiles affailiated with building nglayout. I have also verified that
the build at this point in time succesfully builds with autoconf.

If you must recover one of these makefiles, you can use the static tag STATIC_MAKEFILES.
If I removed a makefile that you need, please e-mail cyeh@netscape.com.
