Fixing bug 114539. Getting rid of mInner in all our 'data' nodes and making those classes inherit nsGenericDOMDataNode in stead. Also remove mContentID from nsTextNode and push mRangeList and mListenerManager into hashtables since they are used so rarely. making FragmentBits a public struct, but the variable of this type is still
private. The other solution would be to "name" the union and delcare
FragmentBits a friend of the union (the union has to be named to declare
friendship).

Fixing part of bug 107453. Combine rarely used leaf element classes into one class to cut down on the amount of code we have for implementing all those dom interfaces. This makes using the combined elements (base, embed, isindex, param, spacer, colgroup, and wbr) a bit more expensive but since they're hardly ever used it's ok for them to take up a bit more heap space when used. r=dbaron@netscape.com, sr=waterson@netscape.com

Fixes for printing bugs 84017 and 89151. The fix for bug 84017 removes the need for a resize reflow to get form frame values to print. The restoration of these values into the new frame model is done as part of the initial reflow. The fix for bug 89151 gets rid of the extra frame model built and forces printed images to come out of the decoded image cache. r=darinf, heikki, sr=rpotts

The two were split because the stuff that is now in nsIInterfaceRequestorUtils.h wasn't ready for freezing. Also, .idl files should just contain interface defs anyway.

Fix for bug 81253. We now sniff upto the first 2k of the first buffer of any HTML stream, looking for a META tag with charset information. If charset information is found, we use it for unicode conversion. This deals with the bulk of cases where we used to do a reload based on charset information in the document. In the worst case (if charset information exists but isn't found during sniffing) we fall back to the reload case. This fix improves initial page load performance for pages with a charset. Degradation in performance for pages loaded out of the cache is still being investigated. r=harishd, sr=waterson

Replaced NO_SHARED_LIB & NO_STATIC_LIB with BUILD_SHARED_LIBS, BUILD_STATIC_LIBS, FORCE_STATIC_LIB & FORCE_SHARED_LIB. Added FORCE_USE_PIC.

Bug 77834: Fix problem where form control state is being restored to the wrong form control or not restored at all when going back and forth through session history. The problem was that the hash key we used was the content ID, which was not consistent from page load to page load. sr=vidur/shaver@mozilla.org on the content policy callsite and implementation mods (81260). Update of the nsIContentPolicy interface to provide more generic context, a nsIURI instead of a URI wstring, and a nsIDOMWindow for window level context. Existing Callsites have been updated to reflect the new changes, and nsIDOMWindows are now passed into the new API.

Fixing bug 81115 that causes the identity of event receivers and event targets to be incorrect in the case where the target/reveiver is an nsGenericElement or a nsGenericDOMDataNode. The problem was the those classes use the event listener manager as a tearoff but QI'ing that tearoff to nsISupports returns the event listener manager and not the element/node, this causes XPConnect to create different wrappers for the same element/node when the event listener tearoff is wrapped in stead of directly wrapping the element/node. This causes problems with event.target in JS, among other things. The solution for this problem was to create a separate tearoff that works correctly and leave the event listener manager alone since it can not be used as a tearoff in all cases. r=pollmann@netscape.com, sr=vidur@netscape.com
