Fixing bug 58888. The content sink was incorrectly releasing the stream loader in its OnStreamComplete() method, this caused a crash when mozilla was running in off-line mode since OnStreamComplete() was called without the sink having a string reference to the stream loader so the incorrect release call in the sink caused a crash later on in necko. sr=rpotts, r=gagan,heikki

Changing the way content elements store their name information, previously the elements generally stored a name atom and a namespace ID, now they store a pointer to a shared structure containing the name atom, the prefix atom and the namespace ID. This structure is shared between nodes with unique names (ie same name, prefix and ns ID) within a document. Documents now hold a hash table of the names in the document. The changes to mozilla/rdf are not reviewed but they are approved by waterson@netscape.com and the changes to mozilla/layout are reviewed by buster@netscape.com.

This method flushes the pending content notifications from the content sink and the pending reflow notifications from the pres shell. - Fix most of bug 13163 (see TODO for rest). This entails adding a version-string argument to nsIScriptContext::EvaluateString and passing it around lots of places in content sinks.
- Fix leaks and confusion about mSecurityManager and mNameSpaceManager in nsJSEnvironment.cpp. These still need to move from nsJSContext to nsGlobalWindow or thereabouts, jband and vidur are looking at that.
- Added comments and expanded tabs in nsJSEnvironment.cpp, esp. to EvaluateString. Also changed various nsresult vars to be named rv. Also restored brace/style conformity to nsJSProtocolHandler.cpp.
- Factored CompileFunction from AddScriptEventListener to pave the way for brutal sharing of compiled JS event handlers via JS_CloneFunctionObject.
- Lots of nsCOMPtr uses added. I'm using one for mNameSpaceManager. Hold mSecurityManager as a service explicitly, on the other hand (awaiting scc's fix to allow comptrs for services), and release in nsJSContext's dtor (fixing a leak). These two managers should be moved to the window object -- TODO item below.
- Hold JSRuntimeService along with JSRuntime for live of nsJSEnvironment, fix for shaver.
- Fix window.setTimeout etc. so the filename and line number of the timeout expr is propagated. This meant factoring nsJSUtils.cpp code.
- Fix all content sinks to use the same, and up-to-date JavaScript version parsing (whether for script type or for old language attribute); also fix SplitMimeType clones to strip whitespace.
- With waterson, fix bug in brutal-sharing version of XUL content sink: script src= should not evaluate the inline content of its tag.

Adding the architecture for an external transformation engine to hook into Raptor's layout process. One way this architecture can be used is for doing XSL transforms using a 3rd party component that implements the XSL processor. More details will be posted in mozilla.layout.

- Beautified error reporting of expat errors. We now don't just dump the error text out as nodes. We create the parsererror and sourcetext HTML nodes that can be styled via ua.css.

We've decided to do away with the notion of an nsExpatDTD. The expat tokenizer which encapsulates the expat parser will be driven by nsWellFormedDTD. So, I'm removing the code that constructed an expat DTD for controlling the parsing of an XML document.

Add --enable-debug=module1,module2 to selective turn on debugging.

Remove --enable-dom, because Mariner is dead (sob).
Rename some MODULE= lines to make the afore-mentioned --enable-debug
technique actually useful. Feel free to recategorize.
Fix libraptorhtml.so link bogosity by disabling shared lib generation for the
sub-archives (libraptor*_s.a), so that we can put bin before lib in the
library path and still get the right effect. We could disable static-lib
generation in most other places and cut the build time down a fair bit, too.

Work in progress of async loading of SCRIPT and STYLE with SRC attributes. Content sinks can now return a BLOCK_PARSER return code, forcing the parser to block. nsIParser::EnableParser can be used to unblock. Also introduced nsIContentSink::SetParser.
