harishd%netscape.com 09ce73ed2a Crasher - Expat parser's XML_ParseBuffer wasn't aware of the BLOCKING mechansim and hence failed to update the buffer position ( bufferPtr ). cls%seawood.org 80f526179f Replaced NO_SHARED_LIB & NO_STATIC_LIB with BUILD_SHARED_LIBS, BUILD_STATIC_LIBS, FORCE_STATIC_LIB & FORCE_SHARED_LIB. Added FORCE_USE_PIC. 
Changes allow us to have a finer control over which parts of the tree are built with PIC.  Part of the static build branch landing.
