scc%netscape.com f5a114f824 Changes to make observer lists hold only weak references. This code is disabled by default; enabled by the symbol |NS_WEAK_OBSERVERS|. The code will remain disabled until two underlying ownership bugs are fixed: hanging the wallet service from something permanent, and finding the observer someone is registering through XPConnect that does not support weak references. bug#=18682; r=dp 1999-12-08 05:24:14 +00:00

- cleaner memory management in nsFactoryEntry.
- capitalization fixed in nsIComponentLoader.idl
- clean up loader creation logic
- remove/disable lots of DEBUG_shaver noise
- added (disabled) warning about NSGetFactory usage
- move .so and .shlb higher up in the ValidDllExtensions list to marginally
  speed up registration.
- added nsDll::GetRegistryLocation API
- properly export nsSupportsArray.h
- capitalization fixes in nsIEnumerator.idl
- added deferral to nsSample.js
