Fixing the interfaces, with some minor adjustments needed in cpp. Also fixing Coverity CID 1558168: Null pointer dereferences (REVERSE_INULL) Null-checking "o2" suggests that it may be null, but it has already been dereferenced on all paths leading to the check.
