(“SenseTime”), are aware that 3 different GitHub users (Github user names: “[private]” “pxkpxk” and “ZhuJiangWorkspace”) posted SenseTime owned copyrighted proprietary and confidential documents (software codes) to your website. The documents subject to a copyright named with “General face recognition SDK software V1.0” registered by SenseTime in China, and the copyright registration number is 2016SR249014. This letter is sent to kindly request for your assistance as follows:
Specifically, the posted files (Please see attachment for the detailed Takedown Information-2016SR249014) infringing our copyrighted documents are identified at:
- GitHub user “[private]”
This user has posted infringing files in repository [repository deleted by user].
In this infringing repository are statements declaring Sensetime’s license in document “FACESDK_13160CD4-F98E-4F72-823B-CD2F78BCE39D.lic” (URL of the License: [repository deleted by user]
We have found that there are 148 commits under the repository mentioned above. Moreover, we have searched for forks of the allegedly infringing repositories, and it is not found any forks up to now.

This user has posted infringing files in repository [repository deleted by user].

We have found that there are 127 commits under the repository mentioned above. Moreover, we have searched for forks of the allegedly infringing repositories, and it is not found any forks up to now.
The above documents are confidential and proprietary to SenseTime and were posted without SenseTime's permission. We confirm that the entire 5 repositories, i.e., the files above in these repositories are infringing on our copyright.
The unauthorized copying, disclosure and distribution of SenseTime's confidential and copyrighted documents shall constitute a violation of both trade secret and copyright laws and take civil and/or criminal liabilities.
Pursuant to the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (“DMCA”), please remove all these above documents, which infringe SenseTime's copyrights by reproducing substantial portions of SenseTime's confidential and proprietary software codes. Please also remove all previous versions under the repositories mentioned above so as to prevent potential infringements in the future.
We also request that you identify to us your source(s) for these documents, so that we can contact those parties who released the sources and request them to delete and/or remove the documents under their control.
