We're a Silent Eight company which provide a solution called as IRIS and I'm a [private] in the company, so I'm responsible for a security area and intelecutal property.
Please provide a detailed description of the original copyrighted work that has allegedly been infringed. If possible, include a URL to where it is posted online.
Original copyrighted work can be found on our repo: https://github.com/enterprises/silenteight. IRIS is a Silent Eight product which is deliverd to our Client. For now it's not opensource solution. One of our former [private] share our IRIS [private] (here: [private]) in public by mistake and next the mentioned in request user copied it to his repo (here: https://github.com/TristinDavis/iris-root).
In the first situation (former [private] unathorized sharing) we have contacted with him and remove / hide this [private], but in the second situation we don't know this user and we cannot contact with him. So we report it by DMCA takedown form.
What files should be taken down? Please provide URLs for each file, or if the entire repository, the repository’s URL.
All files included in repo: https://github.com/TristinDavis/iris-root. It's a unathorized copy of IP and product of Silent Eight IRIS solution.
Do you claim to have any technological measures in place to control access to your copyrighted content? Please see our Complaints about Anti-Circumvention Technology if you are unsure.
No
Have you searched for any forks of the allegedly infringing files or repositories? Each fork is a distinct repository and must be identified separately if you believe it is infringing and wish to have it taken down.
We know about two repo's what was copied:
[private] - this is copied by our former [private] by mistake. Problem solved and [private] is hidden.
https://github.com/TristinDavis/iris-root - this repo is public and should be removed.
For now we have information about this two repo.
Is the work licensed under an open source license?
No
What would be the best solution for the alleged infringement?
Reported content must be removed
Do you have the alleged infringer’s contact information? If so, please provide it.
Probably it can be him: [private], but I'm not sure is this the same person. Name, surname and company is the same - on [private] and [private].
We don't have any other contact information.
I have a good faith belief that use of the copyrighted materials described above on the infringing web pages is not authorized by the copyright owner, or its agent, or the law.
I have taken fair use into consideration.
I swear, under penalty of perjury, that the information in this notification is accurate and that I am the copyright owner, or am authorized to act on behalf of the owner, of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
I have read and understand GitHub's Guide to Submitting a DMCA Takedown Notice.
