I am an attorney for Vanderbilt University and am authorized to act on Vanderbilt’s behalf with respect to the copyright infringement described herein. Vanderbilt is the sole owner of the copyright in a work that is being infringed on GitHub. I am writing pursuant to GitHub’s DMCA policy on taking down infringing works, which I have read and understand.
Vanderbilt University owns all right, title and interest worldwide, including the copyright, in software known as Redcap which is being distributed on GitHub through this URL:
https://github.com/selim04/REDCAP.
In order to remedy this infringement GitHub must immediately cease and desist its distribution and disable access to all files containing the RedCap software code.
Vanderbilt has registered the copyright in the RedCap software code with the United States Copyright Office and reserves the right to seek all remedies against the user “selim04” and against GitHub for the infringing activity identified herein.
Please contact me immediately to confirm that the infringing distribution on the GitHub website has been disabled.
I have a good faith belief that use of the copyrighted materials described above on the infringing web pages is not authorized by the copyright owner, or its agent, or the law.
