The copyrighted work is the property of Canada Health Infoway and represents our medical Terminology Gateway solution “TermGate”. The gateway is accessed via the URL [private] and carries the copyright “Copyright © 2020 Canada Health Infoway. All rights reserved.”
The code was created by Canada Health Infoway by several contributors.

I have searched for forks and none were identified.

No, the work is proprietary to Canada Health Infoway. It is not offered as an open source license. In addition, through programs like the Terminology Gateway, Infoway provides access to a wide range of licensed and proprietary material. To ensure compliance with our various agreements, Infoway Account Users are asked to reconfirm acceptance of these agreements by March 31 of each year.

What would be the best solution for the alleged infringement? Are there specific changes the other person can make other than removal? Can the repository be made private?

The person who posted the code no longer has an employment / internship arrangement with Canada Health Infoway. The code is posted in violation of our confidentiality agreement, and other agreements that were signed upon the commencement of the internship.

We have attempted to submit a GitHub issue to ask the poster to take down the code. The issue was raised by user [private] on July 16, 2020. The issue can be viewed at this URL: [private]

In response to our request to remove the code, the poster created a README file. The user did not provide any additional responses. The README file seems to acknowledge that the TermGate repository code is property of Canada Health Infoway. The README file can be viewed at this URL
