Im [private] of two mods where the compiled code is shared in a github repository.
Please provide a detailed description of the original copyrighted work that has allegedly been infringed. If possible, include a URL to where it is posted online.
Game mod for the game "My Summer Car"
The compiled version is avilable in the persons public github repository.
The person that uploaded the files is currently suspected to upload a virus to the site nexusmods.com.
So it's also possible that the files on the repo have been modified.
The repository itself looks something like a scraper. Downloading/Storing alot of different mods from different Authors.

Is the work licensed under an open source license? If so, which open source license? Are the allegedly infringing files being used under the open source license, or are they in violation of the license?
no open source license of any sort (closed source).
What would be the best solution for the alleged infringement? Are there specific changes the other person can make other than removal? Can the repository be made private?
As is suspect the person is using the repository to do something with in the future like infecting the files with malware/viruses and then publishing/sharing them removal is the best option.
